Sir, the answer is yes. because f(-5) =(-5)^3+(-5)^2+3×(-5)+115 =(-125) +25-15+115=0

yes sir! , x cube + x square +3x +115 is a multiple of (x+5), as it divides it leaving the remainder as 0. sir i did it by factor theorem and thanks a lot sir for your wonderful explanation , now ch- ploynomials is just a piece of cake for me, once again thanks a lot sir.

Yes (x^3+x^2+3x+115) is a multiple of (x+5) because According to remainder theorem, If we divide (x^3+x^2+3x+115) by (x+5) , The remainder will be zero
