Awesome video, though would’ve been nice if you started it with playing a bit of the project so we can have an idea right off the bat what your remake sounds like
@@achogahba1704 most of the song is just a bass, synth drums and a guitar with a bit of chorus. even the actual chorus of the song is still mostly just guitar, synth drums and a bass, though with some distorted guitar and a surf riff. also the string riff is sampled from a song used in a movie from bollywood so that wouldn't be hard to remake either
Good work. However, some sounds could be much closer to the original song. The orchestra hit for example is very different than the original. They used a Roland JV 1080 for that and there's a vst version on Roland cloud. The 'music box' sound also comes from there. I'm a huge Cheiron sound nerd and I've been hunting these sounds for some time now. This is a demo of a Cheiron sound type of a track I've been playing around with. drive.google.com/file/d/1x7rTPhh8pYJ1crftf2NmyV25D813OUbG/view?usp=sharing
thank you so much for sharing this. To be honest, it is hard to find a good musicbox/bell without tweaking. I have a motif and must say that some sounds I would love to have as vst. Do you know where the pads come from this Roland JV?
@@ChrisShine If you don't mind, give me your email and I'll send you a screen shot that a former employee at Cheiron said of the instruments they used.
yeah that's probably why you make demo's on a korg kronos lol... go tell finneas, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Nicky Romero, and Alesso that logic sucks
