I know of said this over and over but I have the same RV (1987 Winnebago Chieftain 32ft) and I would literally pay you whatever you asked for to do some work on my RV since you already k ow it inside and out (literally). It you ever wanted to become a traveling rv repair person. I paid some idiot $1250 to reinstall a new harmonic balancer and he fucked it up. He let the puller tool inside the balancer and never told me until my dad had to go under there and figure out why the harmonic balancer was rattling 😂😂-

There’s self vulcanizing tape, Scotch 130C is one brand.

For the wiring harness tape look into 3m scotch super 33+ or tesa tape

Non-Adhesive Dry Vinyl Tape is basically electrical tape with no adhesive. Great stuff.

You can buy pretty much the same material as what carhart jackets are made of. I’ve use it on race car dashes. Works great and no glare.

It might be Self amalgamating tape if its the non sticky stuff that fuses to itself :)

Just a thought could you not take the speed odometer cable out of the hole its in now .Punch a hole farther down to get a longer cable out of it
