You realize she isn’t singing live and it’s fully auto tuned? I know Carole was honored by the performance, but in reality it’s everything Carole isn’t… fake and manufactured.
The arrangement of this performance is truly captivating. Taylor’s vocal is soothing. What a beautiful tribute to carole. And I love the mutual respect and adoration they have for each other. 2 musical legends.
A perfect place for Taylor to show that not only can she really sing, but she is the queen of stylizing a song, displaying perfect confidence or vulnerability when needed and man, she’s got the *smize* down pat! Love this so much! And such a great song by Carole King! The First Lady of singer/songwriters 💕!
This music makes me physically ill. It's terrible in itself, but the reverence people pay to it and the way it appropriates a classic song from the great Carole King puts it over the edge. Our culture has gone down the drain so much if mainstream critics can't bring themselves to just dismiss Taylor Swift as derivative shlock aimed at pre-teens.

Carol kings was better and the Shirrels I feel have the best version. The song is so good but it’s the sincerity in the voice that makes this song , but this version falls flat to me there seems to be too much effort
Wish people would stop comparing Taylor’s interpretation of this song with other singer’s take on it. Let’s just appreciate the fact that each singer did this song justice in their own time period. The 60’s and 70’s versions fit what was trending at the time, but Taylor’s rendition fits her own singing style and current times. It still managed to bring Carol to tears. In her eyes, Taylor did her proud. That’s all that matters.
Dear god, can this one-in-ten-billion young woman do anything less than perfectly? I loved this song when it was brand-new as Carole's original monster hit on AM radio, cruising in my red VW Beetle. Now I get to love it all over again, as reinterpreted by TS. Wow. This low-key dance mix-vibe is unexpected from her, and completely fabulous. I love that Carole seemed to adore the cover and TS' performance as much as I do. And my god, does Taylor kill in that lace cat suit, or what?
Once again Miss Swift doesn't do a cover... Rather she takes an all time classic and makes it her own whilst paying absolute respect to the original and the creator...You only have to see Carole King's reaction to see what that meant to her.. Also one of her most sensual performances..
that's actually what makes a good cover. Take a classic song and play it with your own spin of it while being respectful to the original. Taylor did exactly that and it was an amazing cover. If she sang it same as the original it would be a karaoke and not a real cover.

Not long ago I saw the Shirrells 1st version from 1960 on youtube. The message is so universal, as it speaks to the permanence which makes love so much more meaningful than just a one-night stand. Never knew Talor Swift covered the song until just now, Nov 9, 2023, 10 pm. She did an excellent rendition, conveying the message so beautifully. It is the first time I have heard and seen Taylor Swift sing ANY song, and I'm glad it was this one.

That was a stunningly great version of a well=traveled classic. Very sensual in keeping with the lyric. Love the ending. No fade out no vamping of the chorus over and over. In most versions it sounds like a plea. She Looks right in the camera and directly asks the question. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?
This song performed by her, re-imagined by her, almost made me cry, especially because deep down it has a sadder message, and it relates to Taylor's life so much! 😔😢🥺❤❤
How wonderful! This song was composed by Carole King many years ago. But it has survived the test of time. I think "Will you still love me?" Taylor sings is the greatest version. Her singing voice is very charming, and encouraging.

She absolutely slayed this cover. I saw one hater say she would sounded better if she performed it in a higher key and i might agree that i think she should've performed it in 1 note higher key, but Taylor did fantastic job with this performance. My favorite cover of hers. 10/10
