39:25 His voice sounds raspy as hell 39:29 I guess it could be very painful, so painful that few seconds later he sang "yeah"s with clean voice and misplayed a chord

I was born in 2002 so I've never experienced Nirvana in person, I had really started listening to Nirvana somewhere around 2017 and I'll be honest Kurt really fucking rocked his way into my heart. Nirvana's music really had that rough and raw feeling to it that made me feel true emotions, it came right in time too because I was such an angst filled and emotional teenager and the music was perfect. Especially all of the unreleased music like the stuff from With the lights out and Fecal matter and all the old 1980s basement concerts, it all had this unique rage feeling that made me want to get up and scream and jump around like a fucking monkey, not with anger but with energy and defiance. I wasn't around when Kurt died, and he's been dead longer than I've been alive, so I guess I can't relate to those die hard Nirvana fans that got to experience him in real life, it brings me to tears sometimes knowing that he's not around anymore and that I'll never get to see him in person and experience his music. I feel like knowing everything I know, Nirvana probably wouldn't have lasted too much longer if kurt was still around, or not, we'll never know because we weren't kurt or krist or dave. But what I am sure of is that Kurt was a musical genius and he still had so much to give to the world of rock. I know this is probably a lot of personal information to put in a youtube comment, but I don't know many Nirvana fans in person so I guess this would be as good of a place than any. Rest in peace Kurt Cobain, may you sing and rock and thrash to all of the angels in the kingdom of the afterlife.
Born January 1990, I discovered Nirvana in early 1994, after seeing a very weird music video on TV for "Heart Shaped Box". The song and video stuck in my mind, and in March 1994 my Dad gave me CD copies of Nevermind and In Utero. It was exactly a month later that Kurt Cobain died, and I was shocked. I wasn't sad or crying, but I definately felt weird and something felt off that day. I just discovered the dude and became a very big fan of his work. I vivdly remember trying to watch the April 9th, 1994 episode of WCW Saturday Night, the day after his death was announced, nothing from the show registering to me even though I had the VHS tape rolling of the episode.
Greetings from born in 1986 in the damn Soviet Union. I also found out about Nirvana after Kurt's death, in 1998. And I have the same feelings that you have to this day. Although I am already 36 years old and often life seems to be a mistake. But music helps not to go crazy. When I was a 14-year-old teenager, I decided that I wanted, just like Kurt, to help people fight loneliness. And it probably worked out. Although my band broke up after 20 years, I continue to play music alone. But the main impulse was the music of Kurt and his friends. Thank you for your sincere comment. We are still not alone on this planet. If you'll want to watch, there are videos of live gigs on my channel
Ironically, noone in Germany can watch this because UMG decided to copyright-claim 'I Hate to See You Go' (the song that plays in the last 30 seconds of this two hour video while everyone is leaving) and monetize the video.
Liam Wynn damn, that sucks... and is so ridiculous for them to do that. Just an idea but maybe cut the audio for that song. Though, I can see why you may not want to, as it’s technically the full show.
I can honestly see why they didn't play scentless apprentice at this show Kurt's voice was completely shot and it would be probably the most sloppiest version of the song ever played even more sloppy that when they played it at Rio a year earlier.
Unfortunately he didn't live a righteous life. He did find Christ but fell out of it. He was worshipping Satan with a Tupac mask on while stoned (which is on film.) He sold his soul via a big industry contract. One one of the Nirvana shirts (Rings of Hell shirt) it states "Fudge Packing, Crack Smoking, Satan Worshipping, Mother Fucker." In his journals he explains how he wanted to fuck a baby untill it dies, and on the Nevermind album art is a naked baby backing his pedophilic tendencies. He was indeed murdered as the devil, and his principalities came to collect. Not being religious or anything, but simply stating facts. Kurt Cobain has headed to Hell. As Jesus said the road to damnation is wide, few find the narrow road which leads to true salvation. This world is the devil's, due to first sin of man and woman. Through it we have become submitted to bondage and wickedness thereof. Which is evident if you look anywhere in anytime of society. Out of it is redemption possible as God has called all who are saved out of this wicked world. Hence despise evil, and be not blind to the de"vices" of the enemy, the devil.
I know Kurt was sick with bronchitis during this concert. It didn't help that he just got done having a shouting argument with Courtney, on the phone! He decided to divorce her and leave the band that night, according to Kurt's friend, Buzz Ozborne.
Jules Heroin doesn't make you paranoid man. And he found out Courtney cheated on him in London, and he was done with her, also Buzz is gigantically jealous of Kurt and usually full of shit. I take anything he says with a grain of salt.
What I find most incredible is that Smells Like Teen Spirit wasn’t even on the setlist. Which I like in a way, Nirvana (like most bands) can’t be defined by just the radio hits. And for the last concert they ever did to not have it in the setlist speaks volumes.
@@sappykurt4415 I agree I believe with his bronchitis Kurt wouldn’t be able to do that song justice tonight I’m honestly surprised he kept singing while his vocal chords were turning against him now that’s dedication
@@sappykurt4415 Yet he sang *Territorial pissings* which is about 250% worse for vocal health. Besides, we hear him coughing inside, as well as in the middle of *Lithium.*
why is it that at the last concerts ever kurt was performing lounge act? he never played it because it was about his ex apparently, i don’t know it’s odd, the divorce with courtney idk
This concert may be the last. But to me, this concert feels like a tribute to the old days of nirvana live mostly the nevermind. Why because the setlist has more never mind content. Like 8 in utero songs, 10 never mind. But I might remaster this.
To say kurt had bronchitis and it's a bootleg recording Kurt sounds pretty good considering they way he sung and all the shouty stuff nirvana aren't easy to sing like he did
Based on this recording, the chief soundboard operator was drunk or on drugs or deaf or simply didn't care and should have been fired immediately. Yeah, I get the whole "punk aesthetic" and all that, but there are PAYING CUSTOMERS to consider, too. Just sayin'....
Born in 96 and have been listening to Nirvana as long as I have memories. It has absolutly shaped my musical tastes over the years. He was an incredibly gifted songwriter and musician. I dont know what he was going through in his life after this show, but his memory will live on in his music. Very few bands have affected music the way Nirvana has.
For anyone wondering, at the end of track 1 "My Best Friend's Girl" - Krist started singing lyrics from another Cars song 'All Mixed Up' --- "Life's the same except for my shoes. Life's the same you're shaking like tremolo. Life's the same (Kurt joins in) it's all inside you..."
I can hear that his voice was so fucked at this point that if he were still alive, he couldn't scream anymore, or even he's speaking voice would be raspy af. This recording is so sad and painful to listen.
This concert 2014 year make any sound and may be play new music. I know this boys. One son Kurt Cobain in 14-15 year old and other boy son Gizz Butt 18 year old. And I don't know drummer, bad not see this in live :(
although, kurt's voice wasn't amazing here, it sounds way more raspy and gives it an unique tone than others! Such a shame Courtney had to get him killed...
Xaten Nope, take a look at Nirvanaguide. 01/08/94 and 02/06/94 were the only shows known to have ended with Blew. The other ~20 were all Heart Shaped Box.
Haha i like Krists woke rant before PT. I wonder if Nirvana hung around if it would have affected hip hop. No? Think about it this way, would there be a Limp Bizkit if Kurt was still around to talk shit.
Only consert where they started with "She's my best friend girl", and it was on his/ their last live show, ever. And so many things was said before the concert, about breaking up Nirvana and so forth.💖🌟🙏
so here’s where a cover comes in ( theory ) Your in a band and there’s a disconnect with the personalities and why we’re here and yet , it’s showtime . So what do you do ? Well you slide into a cover you never perfected but beat around in rehearsal, just to take the edge off and it feels right to tank , but not too much , ya know what I mean ?
Poor Kurt if only he wasn’t sick he’d probably still be here with us stupid sickness I hate sickness it’s one of the worst things in the world the fact that he was sick and had to sing and scream I felt bad for him
@@briantcideu8619 nirvana _"fans"_ in a nutshell: _"Ey SLTS is a good song, I'd like it but since Kurt hated it then I should hate it too because I don't have an own musical taste"_
