In my moment of weakness. When I wasn't able to see the dream that God whispered in the night. When I was feeling the journey and felt the confusion of the sight. When I was praying to not let go of the faithfulness and to hold on. When the devil tried to attack me again with can't you see I am strong. When I was once again on the mountain. I was praying man can not live on bread alone. That I will fear not and still go. When I struggled still. When I already got the message of you do need to fear. I picked up my Bible and was set in Hebrews. Then I worshipped. Look what my god gives. And when I had just asked God to give me the encouragement I needed to be all god had said I would be. He spoke for me but not just me. I have to know I will keep with my lord God. When I was weak he makes me strong. My god sends me. I shall hold on to the words of the lord. And when I was needing to hear the encouragement I had prayed for he gave me this message. I must fear not. My god is with me. He is the king on the throne. I must see what the Lord has done. He is my lord and saviour. He shows up right on time. He walks with me. He is lord of lords. If he is for me what can come against me. If he knows my name he will always call it and I will always answer back yes lord. Oh heavenly Father thank you for the breath in my lungs. Let me sing out to you in praise for the great things you have done. And you do it for so many. You work so. Through out time have you not worked through your chosen people. You choose. Not us. And you move. Not us. Thank you for the Lakewood ministry. Thank you for your churches. Thank you for dying on the cross. So I maybe saved. Thank you for being my father. Thank you for all you do. I've worshipped at Lakewood when I visited, I have met and spoken to Joel, and I have heard 100+ of his sermons. I believe he is an imperfect person (like all of us) who does his best to spread hope, faith, and encouragement. We are blessed to have him alive today and speaking hope into our hearts. May God bless him, his family, and his ministry. BTW, I have never seen as much socio-economic diversity in a large congregation as I have at Lakewood. That speaks volumes!
