Bill Walton gave us a blue print of how we should all live our lives. Selfless, enthusiastic and thinking of others.

As an 80s NBA fan, I always liked Bill Walton a lot. I was a Showtime Laker fan and even though Bill was a Celtic, his enthusiasem for the game was infectious. He seemed to have so much fun on the court and years later , I enjoyed his calling of NBA games, you could just tell how much he loved the game. Rest in Peace, Bill Walton.

I was walking in La Jolla ten years ago when I saw a huge guy riding a bicycle and realized it was Bill Walton. He was riding by himself and had a huge smile, just joyful that he had regained the ability to ride.

"Lakers fast break, Magic passes to James Worthy, Worthy one handed dunk." I still can picture the Lakers show.

Hey I’m here and many other tubes, cuz I love Bill Walton. I watched a bunch of his footage a few years ago. He’s been on my all time team since, behind Shaq. Salt and Pepper. Most athletic, quickest, ironically, swift footed Center ever, believe it. Great shooter too, defensive monster. People don’t understand. I hope his passing sheds more light on the one and only beautiful Bill Walton

Best outlet pass of all time - rebound and pass were one quick motion.

Bill Walton owes Stuttering John Melendez everything. It was John who wrote a joke for him during the Karem Abdul Jabbar roast that KILLED! John is so funny and the best comedian and writer that ever worked!

Walton was a tremendous player when he could play. A MUCH BETTER defender and rebounder than Jokic.

Walton’s Blazers beat my Bulls in ‘77. Most people don’t realize that despite Bob Costas’ putting down the 70’s Bulls teams they were actually very, very good. Had the Bulls gotten past the Warriors on the west in 1975 (Chicago was in the west then), I’m convinced they would have beaten the Bullets in the finals.

Walton was a tremendous player when he could play. A MUCH BETTER defender and rebounder than Jokic. The Lakers knew what was coming in the '86 finals and took an early vacation. They were clearly better than Houston.

Here is the greatest what if…? What if the Portland Trail Blazers had kept Moses Malone who was in training camp with them in 1976 that was sent to the Buffalo Braves and then to the Houston rockets and two years later was the leagues MVP. At the time, Jack Ramsey and ownership of the Blazers felt they had three players better than Moses Malone… Bill Walton, Maurice Lucas and Lloyd Neal. The price tag to keep Moses Malone as a Blazer… $200,000.

She doesn't listen at all, he says "he sat out two years", 30 seconds later she says "he sat out one year right"? lol
