It was a sad sight at the Wings Over Houston 2023 airshow, because a lot had changed from last year's airshow. In 2022, I had the pleasure of seeing CAF B-17G "Texas Raiders" as well as pilot Craig Hutain, which was the last time I would ever see them. On November 12, 2022, B-17 and P-63 (piloted by Craig Hutain) had a mid-air collision which took lives of all the pilots and crew involved. This year at 2023 Wings Over Houston, I saw the same exact aircraft which was flown by late Craig Hutain last year, as well as another B-17 that replaced the late Texas Raiders B-17. Couldn't help but feel grief.
