Remembering Rev. James Lawson Jr., who died in L.A. at age 95 

What a giant for not just civil rights but for humanity. This man was a treasure who walked in integrity and love. He will be truly missed. Sending condolences 💐 and continued prayers for his family and community.

I was driving down West Adams today and saw the stretch a road that was named in his honor. When I got home I found out he had passed. Thank you for your service.

What an INCREDIBLE HUMAN BEING. His intellect, courage and love for his fellow man was unmatchable in any other human being. UNMATCHABLE. He was the genuine REAL DEAL. He deserves a deep forever space in the hearts of his fellow man. He along with father Breen made the "soul" of Nashville Tennessee a warm and loving one. This passing marks the end of a great era in a once great God loving, walk the walk city. Rest in peace Revelator Lawson. Go be with your lord now, you served it well. ❤
