You can see Elvis had a lot of respect and love for Scotty

Scotty Moore’s autobiography oughtta be turned in to a biopic. He had an interesting life, and it also shows how bad he, Bill Black and DJ Fontana was being treated by Tom Parker. There’s been quite a lot of movies about Elvis, let’s see one about Scotty.

I´m all in. Brining the Blue Moon Boys into the spotlight would be great. I mean, Scotty and Dj played for Elvis from 1954-1968, and Bill was a legend himself with his doghouse bass, even if he only played for Elvis from 1954-1958. It would be amazing to see a biopic.

Sad story though , Colonel Parker made sure they kept Scotty and Bill DJ's name off of all the albums, we're paid no royalties just a paid by each performance also at the end of the 68 special he asked Scotty to go on European tour with him and it never materialized

Notice how Elvis starts off with his regular Gibson j200 and by the end he is holding Scotty’s much nicer guitar. Nice edit in their somewhere. Apparently Scotty wasn’t too happy about that.

I CAN TELL YOU HE WAS NOT HAPPY WITH ELVIS TAKING HIS GUITAR. SCOTT WAS A FRIEND OF MINE FOR 30 PLUS YEARS. MY SISTER WAS HIS EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, & DID A LOT OF SCOTTY'S TALKING FOR HIM, UNTIL SHE PASSED AWAY BEFORE SCOTT. SCOTT ALSO TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID TO ELVIS, AFTER THE SHOW, & HE NEVER TOUCHED SCOTT'S GUITAR AGAIN, & THEY NEVER SAW OR TALKED TO EACH OTHER, AFTER THE " 68 COMBACK". ELVIS ASKED SCOTTY TO GO TO HAWAII FOR A SHOW AFTER THE" 68 COMBACK" BUT THEY NEVER SAW OR TALKED TO EACH AGAIN.

And in turn it made the sit down sessions explode. Elvis was playing fine acoustic and of course Scotty on electric. But when they switched it was a nuclear blast. That took balls on Elvis's part too, while we've heard plenty of Elvis on acoustic, piano and electric bass on "Baby I Don't Care", he's never played electric that we heard. Elvis rocked on electric, he may have joked about knowing "only 3 chords" but 3 chords is rock and roll

I would have fired Charlie Hodge right there and never spoke to him again ,Elvis was about to tell the story and he jumps in and tells it, although I didn't like the way Elvis took Scotty Morris guitar away from him you never do that to a musician
