he was, still hard getting used to not having him here doing all the things, I still panic when there's a thunderstorm thinking I need to comfort him... been rough.

he finally is, he had a very rough 9 months battling cancer, he was TOUGH... and I let him as long as he was able, then he couldn't and I couldn't let him be in that much pain anymore, breaks my heart that I had to let him go

Thank you, I'm sure his little "sister" Chihuahua was there to meet him too, we lost her 3 am Halloween morning 2022... she woke me up just to pass while I held her.

I feel your loss, I just lost my fur buddy, working remote the last 5 years, he was there with me every day, when they leave us they take a bit of our soul with them, sending prayers your way.
Such acute and precious boy. He was loved and cared for and had the best life that you could give, and he lived and loved to his fullest you and your family.
Thank you, he is definitely missed, I have a Zeus sized hole in my heart, I can finally joke about the things he did, he knew how to push my buttons, but he knew how to comfort too. He was so smart, too smart for his own good. I'll never forget the day he ran away, his boy went off to college and he was bound and determined to find him. It was sad, but he was so determined he refused to come home, took hours to get him to come back 🤦🏼♀️
So sorry for the loss of your beautiful Zeus. I hope your pain has softened and you can now recall your treasured memories together with a smile. And the odd tear of course. ❤ 🇦🇺
thank you for your kind words. Yes, I smile at the things he did... even the things he did just to irate me, knowing they did but always pushing his boundaries.... Just starting to answer my phone normally, before I would have to wait to say anything because he always knew and always had to answer first 🤦♀ but yes the tears are still there too....

I'm so sorry for your lost of Zeus and I know that feeling because I lost my cat of 16 years old on 4-4-2024 at 4:18 pm on Thursday and I brought kisser back home on 4-11-2024 on Thursday this week ok and again they are a partners
I am truly sorry for your loss also, prayers your other one is doing ok without them... my last remaining dog is not doing well without him, she now afraid to be left alone, she has to go everywhere and the times I can't take her she howls 💔
they sure are like our kids, it's very hard, I still cry a lot, but at least I'm smiling a little through the tears at times. Some of the memories make me both laugh and cry at the same time... I miss him more then I ever thought I could.
