Quick video update of my spacer torque, and suggested maintenance interval on them. I have my spacers and lugs torqued to 80 ft lb.

Thank you for the video! I would love a video on how to jack up the front end too haha

The front is a bit more hassled. If not lowered, you should use a low profile jack to get to the subframe. Once jacked, place the jack stands on the reinforced pinch welds. If lowered, drive on blocks for more clearance and repeat above for long sessions. Alternatively for quick jobs, I have a redundancy of using the jack at the pinch welds and the OEM scissor jack jacked right next to it on the reinforced pinch weld Not best option, but my philosophy is the scissor jack was made for emergencies as a standalone anyway. Redundancy is key IMO for peace of mind. I’ll try to make a video in the future. Stay tuned.

Great video man. Gotta check mine too. Been a couple of years since I last checked.

Thank you, ROLLA! Yeah it’s definitely time. My lugs have not once moved after initial installation. Possible for yours as well, but better safe than sorry!

@@BWItoATXF Yeah, true. Quality is very important. Usually the ones that fail are cheap quality ones. I have Eibachs. Eibachs and H&Rs are known to be stronger than the OEM hubs so usually they are pretty safe. Still, will check them out during the christmas holiday.

Yep H&R for me and no issues since making that choice.

Thanks for watching! It’s just a 1.5 ton from harbor freight.

@@BWItoATXF watching from France haha ! I also want to buy a hydraulic floor jack to lift the RCF.. but i am not sure about the minimum required height

@lelelejo great to hear I have a viewer there! Any low profile jack (sub 3 inch when fully lowered) should be fine. Stock height and lowered height. To get to jack point under the front cross member, can always use ramps to aid or 2x4. To summarize, there’s nothing special to be considered. A low profile jack should be all you need.

I have Lexus RCF and I’m not what jack I need to buy to do my oil change

Any low profile 1.5 ton will be fine. I’ve used harbor freight for years.

The issue I’m having is that when I try to lift the car from the front is I still don’t have enough length to reach the jacking point.
@BWItoATXF

@webbsain5365 gotcha. If you’re lowered, you’re going to have a bad time. Drive on some rhino ramps or 2x4s for extra clearance.
