Finally found a review on this from a fellow Brother lol. Do the guards stay secure when cutting and are they durable? I don't want to plug myself lol. #360biggie
MannY Kumi I just used it for the first time! Let me say there are TWO differences. There are only 6 guards and no bag. The 6 guards are fine. I believe sizes 0-4, which is fine since I use those sizes. I checked the box before I bought it, so no surprises there! What an experience! It was quieter than an regular buzzer and so much lighter in weight. I got a more even and “true to guard size” cut! I loved watching the hair come up out of it! I have a wahl buzzer that I used quite often. I would have to take the blades apart and unscrew it to truly clean it. Did I mention how uneven the cuts were? I just buzzed my hair last week using a #2. I just used the Remington and you should’ve seen all the hair that actually came off. I love this thing. I paid $44 for it at Walmart and it will pay for itself with only one more haircut! What I also love about this thing is that it’s curved so that I can actually cut and trim the back of my head and get rid of those ugly neck fuzzies! Did I mention I’m a woman?! So, I’m pretty particular about my hair. That’s one thing I love about using a buzzer. I can bleach it and color it a bunch of different colors and I don’t have to worry about damage and I get so many compliments on it. Now I’ve got the perfect buzzer! Thanks for the review- even though mine has less stuff!!!!
I usually cut my hair to grade 2 all over when it roughly reaches grade 3-4. Can these do that? (because they look very different from standard hair clippers)
Hey Manny, Nice review & nice cut! ;) Thanks for this though, was the first video I watched, via a link from baldingbeards.com, and after doing some more research, I'm going to be ordering one. First time buying a Remington, but I'm tired of Wahl portable clipper heads breaking... Thanks again, dude. Take it easy :)
Depending on the level of hair you currently have. I would recommend that you start high and gradually work down shorter this way you don't have to hide out for a month. Unless your hair is already short-the pressure you applyed does not matter as the guard is in between your scaple and the clippers. Best advise is start HIGH and work as low as your want!!! Doe it offen and enjoy the your self haircut!!!
Yes, the instruction booklet has instructions how to change the rechargeable batteries when they reach end of life. I tried to figure it out using the instructions, but they aren't very helpful.
I have the other model. I believe the only difference is the bag! The user manual has both model numbers listed on the front and the directions are not model specific. It doesn’t state that they can be replaced, as you need to sever the wires. It just says how to remove them.
