idk how much automation you can do on garage band on a mobile device, but one little trick i like to use in logic is to use a plugin that has some kind of LFO/ rate knob and turn it down to like 2-4 bars. but its a fun way to add another dimension if you want a nice swell or reverb or a slow creep of distortion or panning. sorry this is all unsolicited and not meant to be a criticism of this song. it sounds beautiful as is. but just an idea to play with for the next song!
@@crayon-slapping-hippo thank you! Yes, automation on GarageBand is quite limited. You can only do so much for a music software on a phone 😭 thanks for he suggestion though
@@arsenicyt I feel like the percussion is a bit detached from the orchestra, if that makes sense? Maybe putting some of the same rhythms in the orchestra (like the baseline) could tie it together a little better. Or maybe decreasing the volume of the percussion could help tie it together too. Other than that I really like it.
@@arsenicytsorry if this is super unsolicited but honestly I’d add another pattern or two to the song’s main riff. If it’s meant to be a really ambient track maybe keep them similar to what’s in there already but it would add a bit of a feeling of change over time to the song/motion. Also it’s all taste so please disagree with my feedback, it’s encouraged.
