I downloaded the demo yesterday. I'm loving it. I'm testing how to control it trough traktor virtual midi, and it seems to work so fucking well, I'm impressed. I just need to figure out which commands in remixvideo are the ones that I need to use really, but it seems to work great.

i can see this working in a dj group like addictive tv with one doing the visuals and the other doing the music .It reminds me of reselume but updated.It looks great but im not sure if its right for me but i would like to try it out

I have been using Mixvibes Cross to do my video DJ'ing for about 2 years now, and this software looks pretty great and has alot of the features i was hoping would someday get added to Cross (more FX, Chroma Key, etc). Alas, I am a PC user, and can't take advantage of that sweet introductory price. Any word on when we could expect this to hit Windows? Day 1 purchase for me.

Hey Catgoat, thanks for the love! This is only the beginning, not to mention Remixvideo can be synced with Cross using Ableton Link if you fancy giving it a go. It's very simple to activate and gives you a pretty neat DJ/VJ setup. The PC version is a top priority, so expect it very soon. I'll reply to your comment when I have more information about it.

OK so does this app actually WORK?? I downloaded the demo a few years ago. It opened & then shut down. IT NEVER WORKED. I tried again this year & it told me my free demo had expired. I have written to them and of course heard nothing ever. I am looking for a good visual app & I would happily buy this if only it worked. But I'm not about to spend $$ on a product when I don't know if it will work. Could you send some help my way? Thanks.

trying demo version with apc mini ..and its vary confusing..my question is why all led gt turned off after sometime??is it because its trial version or somthing else?

Yes!!! I've been using Ableton Link on iOS for a while with Cross DJ Pro. I can't wait to hook up all these different apps and have a proper jam session. Does anyone know if there is any lag or sound interference when the link is disconnected?

How to sync with traktor without using link ?! And how I can use that sound option is it will work with fx to?

Hi! If you want to sync Remixvideo without using link, open the tempo menu by clicking on the tempo: bit.ly/remixvideo_bpm_button If you click on the "bpm" button, Remixvideo will sync its tempo with the live audio. The audio can come from a microphone or your webcam. You can choose the audio source in the preferences menu: bit.ly/remixvideo_preferences_audio

How would the mapping functionality compare to HeavyM?

The mapping on Remixvideo is aimed at regular (rectangular). You can modify the perspective of your rectangular screen in the software in order to have an image with no deformation. HeavyM allows you to create different mapping areas with more unconventional shapes. Remixvideo will allow you to do more complex things with your video output (different layers that can be combined, with different overlay effects, etc). HeavyM is more focused on lightning 3D structures with simpler video content.
