In this video you will learn how to configure remote access VPN on Cisco ASA firewalls. Anyconnect application will be used on the client and it's the focus of this video tutorial.
On a Cisco router, the config is slightly different. Anyconnect on mobile devices requires a different license on Cisco ASA (or at least it used to) not sure if the new licensing model still treats the mobile devices as an endpoint or a different license is needed. I think it's the former. As for the Android you should be able to download it on Google play and generally the same settings will be pushed to the Android which Cisco ASA will treat it as just another endpoint. Same is true for IOS.
@@loopback Thank you! that slightly different is bothering me :). I want to access my home network from my phone when not at home . my network is behind a cisco router. any advice? thanks again
Hello please answer: while connecting to my university using a AnyConnect vpn , Will my computer browsing can be easily tracked and accessed and whatever I do can be seen by their IT staff??
It depends on the configuration the ASA pushes to your PC. If ASA tunnels all traffic then yes... if ASA dictates that you should use a specific DNS server the answer is possibly yes.
Typically in real world the PC is behind NAT (IPv4). For the sake of simplifying the lab, I gave it a public IP address. I could have parked that PC behind a router and NATted it to a public IP and the result would have been the same.
