Remote Controlled Powerpoint with Vmix

Thanks to this video, I've started using Internet Clicker and remote presenters think it's the best thing since sliced bread. I'm currently using NDI HX screen capture on a separate laptop, but wondering if there's advantages / disadvantages to using a direct HDMI out from laptop brought into vMix using an encoder? In long term I'll be getting an AJA IO to add the SDI cameras in our lecture theatre to the vMix laptop, but in short term an Elgato CamLink is cheap as chips to avoid additional load on the network and avoid any compression.

Quick tip, i created a shortcut on my VMIX for arrows left and right changing the slides, using the PPTx file inside of vmix, withou needing to use powerpoint open outside Vmix.Worked flawlessly

Hi!!! Thanks for your videos, they are really useful. I work in a chroma key room and I have this silly doubt about how inserting a PPT in vMix if the PPT has green colors. The green of the CI style of the PPT is very similar to the chroma background, so the colors of the PPT disappear. Thanks in advance!!!

Hey! Loved your video. Just wanna know, if there's a way, where I can only extract the content or in my case lyrics of the song (text) * where ppt is running on a different laptop and I'm able to only have the text in vmix on a different laptop linked to the subtitles preset on vmix?

Hi Jon, Thanks a lot for the video. What you do if you have 3 slidedecks and 3 speakers on different locations who wanna click their own slidedeck?

Nice and I am defenitely gonna try it but as I understand it the presenter can only change slides back and forth. If the presenter wants to draw on the presentation and do other thinks more advanced than changing slides, we'll then he needs to make the presentation from his own laptop or pc. So if he is on the studio with me an hdmi cable or and ndi through network is the way to go, but if he is a remote presenter then ndi and Skype or a combo of vmix call and a shared screen through Skype is what I ll do.

how about using chrome remote desktop + zoom call ?

does internet clicker work with powerpoints that include videos?

in this situation, all have to be on the same network?
