Vmix add this option and we will pay for it as extra option. The option is to remote control the PowerPoint by the presenter over the video call. Or added to the full version of the vmix so we will upgrade to that one.

I use Internet Clicker to a second laptop which is then ingested to my vMix laptop using NDI - the interface is great, especially the preview of slides and allowing users to do this on a mobile phone just out of shot mimics the old fashioned remote clicker 👍

Can I ask? In a zoom webinar, as an operator how to make your screen full (main screen) when you are using vMix if the speaker shared his or her powerpoint through zoom application?

Hi, I have computers where Power Point is installed, but I tried to insert an input with the ppt file in a computer where Power Point was not installed and rightly Vmix gave an error. Would it be possible to use this option under Windows 10 by installing the PowerPoint Mobile viewer only? Thus it would be possible to upload PPT files even where it is not installed. Thank you

We launch the presentation in our vMix, give the speaker web control buttons. If it was possible to make web control buttons inside vmixcall it would be great!

It's possible to build a custom web controller. I had a multi day multi speaker show that used a single common slide deck and the custom web controller. The various speakers were able to use their phones to open the web page and advance their slides.

For local ppt control, it’s much easier to use a second screen and share the second screen. Or use a capture card - more reliable than NDI.

I've found HDMI capture devices better than linking to vMix via NDI, particularly when keying PPT slides over live images, say for sports results etc. The keying quality is better and there's minimal feathering around letters, even when capturing at 1080p.

@@VickersDoorter When you say keying PPT slides over live images do you mean having your slides acting kind of like a transparent overlay in front of your video feed? I'm really looking to find out how I could get my google slides to have a transparent look over my video feed.

@@enochleffingwell6624 I don't use Google slides, but I presume you can copy the URL link for your Google slide presentation. Once copied, create a new input, select Web Browser (left hand side & one up from the bottom of the input list) and paste in the URL. You now should have the slide page appear as a new input. When creating slides, put them on a solid colour background using a colour that doesn't appear in the slides and key out that colour. It works best where your're applying solid colour text over live images. On the bottom of the input box you will see numbers 1-4. Clicking one of these will overlay the slide image on the outpux mix image. The 4 x overlay settings are bottom right of the vMix GUI, whereby you can specify how the overall text enters the screen (i.e fade in, swipe in from top left etc), the size of the overlay and the position in the output image.

@@enochleffingwell6624 A pleasure Enoch. vMix is an amazingly versatile system. You can get up and running with the basics in a couple of hours, but delve deeper and there's some great assets/techniques, which even I five years on still discover, sometimes just through trial and a fair dose of error.
