Hello Otto! It is always fun tagging along with you. We’re somewhat of the same ilk. I’m 68, retired from 38 years of machining, fabrication and tool & die work. We just did it in different locations! My eyesight makes close work difficult these days. I miss contributing to the betterment of our environment. Keep doing what you’re doing! I hope to get to Alaska soon.

Thanks for taking us along. My Uncle Bobby went from Montana to Alaska in the early 60's after a bitter divorce and lived near Soldotna the rest of his life.

I’ve gone through that harbor entrance sideways because we couldn’t get the landing craft (Flying D) I was working on to turn into the wind after loading up a couple propane tankers to fill up English Bay. We had to go on the highest possible tide to get into the lagoon and of course the weather was sh**y that day.

Otto is the man when it comes to operating a barge. The only person I know who can operate equipment like a skid steer, excavator or dozer is Ivan. They are both pretty good.

Otto I love your videos! I noticed a big rock submerged as you were easing into the ramp approach, why don’t you have your son grab that rock with your big excavator and make it go away? I’m sure all the other boaters would appreciate it.

Awesome to watch you work! Seeing the boat leaving the spit was cool too. It takes careful operating! Do projects like this help supplement your income? Always wondered if you had off the homestead work to help pay for things. I know here in OK we have our farm work & a "day job" to get by

Please start placing those mics lower and turn down the sensitivity. -30db is where those mics should be set. ANd place them further from their mouths. Maybe even on the side of their hats to keep the levels down a bit.

Big whoop you in the costal area of the ocean try running up cook inlet and then 80 miles up the yentna .then you can talk untill then your less than mediocre
