Hi guys love your work. Just goes to show that when you do the hard “yards” not all rewards are monetary. I’m 70. Reminds me of fishing with my old man in the clear rivers of New Zealand. When catching a fish was not necessarily the object of the exercise. But with that background it was surely a bonus.
Hey there Ian! Yeah that's it hey mate, for us it's just the interest in fishing that puts us places that are just unreal to visit! Cheers for the support mate 👍 🍻!
Ripper drone footage of the falls crew, amazing country, sweet editing! Jed have a crack at using a Celta spinner or something in that vein rather than the diver, I used to have all sorts of fun with those and Spinner baits, heaps of laughs on the light gear, seem to get a variety of fish as well. So good to see you both in your element. Just rolled back in from above the 26th Parallel camping and fishing. Had a ball. Cold as a fridge back down south. Can't wait for some temp movement lol! Work taking me to Darwin next week to defrost, I can not wait. Keep living the dream. Stay safe, have fun, enjoy the NT. 👍🍻👌
Yeah premo spot hey! Those lil spinners work a treat, I use them heaps for redfin in the South also and even Hezza's 👌. Oh nice! Hopefully was a epic holiday away 👍👍, good times!!
How Bloody good are those spots to have access to with no CroWds 😁😁😁 Great drone footage👍👍👍 Awesome as always Guys 👍👍👍Keep the good shit coming, Liv'n the dream 🍻🍻🍻 Cheers Andy 🍺🍺🍺
What a beautiful place mate. So nice. I like the fresh water fishing lately. I'm looking forward to going up river again. Catch me some yellowbelly /callop/ golden perch. Whatever people call them 🤪. It was one of the best tasting fish I've had. Great video, you both. Looks so dry there. I love my water too much haha. Well done, both of you 🍻
Yeah it's such a nice spot in the middle of nowhere! I love the ocean but is great to push outside that comfort zone n try new things 👌. A Saratoga in FNQ one day would be the ultimate!
@oldmate_adventures you just taught me something mate. Saratoga. I had to look it up. Now I know what to target on our next trip to Queensland haha. I was just looking at Glenlyon Lake earlier today. Looks like a great spot. For photography as well as fishing
Great vid guys, them water ways looked stunning but as much as your missing your fish, not sure about them freshies, I would have bought the salt out ha! Ha! And probably would have marinated them in a salt slurry! But thanks for vid❤😂
Cheers mate! 🍻 Mate surprisingly good table fish, almost identical to a black Bream in the south. The seasoning has salts and herbs in it so gave a lil extra flavour 👌
