This was a solo overnight camping trip with our new puppy Steve. The trip through dinner was absolutely perfect for the young dogs first camping experience. He almost enjoyed the river water and I found some fake fat wood that was no help in starting the fire.
Shortly after dinner Steve gets tangled up in a swarming Yellowjacket nest. Because of his age and not being able to tell how many times he was stung I decide to call the trip early. Although carrying a 40lb 13 week old dog while hauling a backpack was not an easy task. Steve recovered well and now we know he's not allergic so we'll be out again soon. Thanks again for all the support you guys :)
