Remote Start Trick on the Lexus GX 550

Cool to see that it still works but bad that they now charge for a feature that used to be free, or that used to be a one-time charge instead of subscription-based. I can see the app being more convenient though for sure

Correction - you dont lock lock lock hold. You lock, lock, lock, and release once the light starts flashing. You don't hold it until it starts.

As long as the key lock/lock/lock doesn't get disabled when you run out of the free trial, then that's good. I had heard or read somewhere a ways back that they were going to disable it for new models if you didn't pay (TBD). The lock3x method to remote start for Lexus still sucks vs other manufacturers, but it's better than paying them for nonsense.

The lock lock lock hold feature sucks regardless, if your timing is off by a split second is doesnt work. If your not looking at your car you have no idea if it even worked Iol 22 4Runner

Yeah id just pay 150 for my car audio guy to install a remote start that works with the same 3lock button clicks, like i did with my es350
