our whole company (150+ employees) is working remote since covid... and we r doing pretty well. main is company main covid se pehly office main bhi time guzara hai. jitna time employee office main zaya krta hai... utna hi remote bhi zaya krta hai... productivity similar e rehti hai almost.

Remote works perfectly fine for software companies, have been doing it for more than a couple of years. You can set the tone and the environment of the team remotely too. The reason that you are not able to trust remote work is probably due to your own insecurities.

Forget associating accountability with on premises work.. if an assignment has been given to an IT professional who works remotely, he delivers that day's result. This is a norm here in Germany where majority of software developers and IT professionals work remotely, the employers only are concerned with the daily tasks they have given to their employees. Ab pakistan hai to pakistani employers ki wohi ghisi piti soch hogi ke salary me overtime kaam karwa loon

Company NDA only applies during working hours, not in the employee's free time. You cannot enslave someone.

Respected Ehmad Bhai, Don't be hypocrite. You always mention Elon Musk or Other Big Names, who give starting salary of 120,000 USD/Anum to their engineers and you (Cogent Lab) offer Salary of 250 to 1200 USD Max per month to your engineers. Most of the times you talk non sense. Moreover, you expect from your employees to not work for others (Freelance work). You only deserve mediocre engineers with 1-4 years of experience and you can only exploit them who currently have no better opportunity. Sorry for my hard words but this is only reality.

Ehmed bhai I also want to know how you keep doing freelancing while working at ArbiSoft and then you finally made switch by scaling it to your own company? Is not it was by leveraging the perk of remote work in ArbiSoft (I am an employee there)? as once you yourself said in a video that you were quite fast and you complete your 8hrs work in 6 hrs and rest you keep doing your things. This all contradicts with the points you mentioned here for remote work

IT based jobs don't need office at all. Bosses from boomer mentality are not ready to accept it. If a job can be done from home them it must be done from home. In my opinion, all IT offices should end but commercial real estate landlords will get angry if that will happen that is why they talk against remote work

Amazed to listen that the CEOs are mixing NDA, NCA and NCC with each other by saying NCA hova ha pr phr bhi dosri company ka liya work krta hain , Allah dakh raha ha, promise tora ha, tarbiyat nhi badal skta etc. You cannot enslave a person. Everyone have a right to be better.

The two biggest problems in remote work are doing two jobs simultaneously, not being honest with any of your employers and very ineffective communication and collaboration. Humans need a good environment to learn and grow, which is impossible in remote work, maybe it is for the 20% you are talking about but for the majority, it isn't. Discussing an idea or implementing a solution with your teammate is much easier when you are physically present at the same place, rather than figuring our why the mic isn't working in a video call.

Ehmad bhai, I believe it's important to be cautious when quoting workaholics and staunch capitalists like Elon Musk. Emphasizing such figures can make it difficult to talk about company values and culture while also expecting employees to take true ownership of their work. Additionally, it seems that many software houses today function as remote teams for foreign clients. If you're using Postman as an example, it could risk undermining the entire IT ecosystem. Lastly, I’m currently in Germany, and I know of 90 employees here who are successfully working remotely.

Elon musk example you gave makes no sense at all. Can a house help clean the house virtually ? or can a postman deliver parcels by sitting at home? software engineers can do their job from home unlike the professions you mentioned.

He literally doesn't realize that his employees are actually "remote" workers for his clients. I will really like him to give same suggestions to his client to not go for remote employees and instead hire in office employees.
