Enjoyed that Warren..my stomping ground...The Green mesh track is for the posh Gamekeepers during the Grouse shooting season..That view from the top of the Cut gate path always gets me....There is an Aircraft crash site near the Bull stones...you really should have visited Crow stones edge...it has one of the best views in the whole peak...I think the Fenced off area is the Bronze age burial mound area...The hill at the end of the ridge is High stones, South Yorkshires highest ground......the huge Cairn on Pike lowe is a Bronze age burial cairn.....i believe lots of training during the war went on along Ewden height..Tanks and what have we...all in all great video/Walk.
Got that wonderful clagy weather Warren just so it feels like normal. Shame the views were hidden. Looked like a comfortable overniter with a good selection of food. Bushyboy Oz.
I usually track my trekked distances using an old Garmin unit but not looked specifically. Probably around 9 miles in all, maybe a bit more. Cheers, Warren :)
