Great review but if you own a Pixel phone DO NOT buy this. The video does not record in any useable format. It seems to work fine on other brands of phone. Otherwise I am very pleased with mine, a great little drone for the price

I bought this drone in January and also purchased a spare battery. The drone performed very well, even in wind. Quality video is a challenge with any wind at all with no gimbal(s) or EIS software. I only flew it a few times because it has been cold (winter). On 1 or 2 occasions, I lost sight of the drone and the RTH function worked perfectly. It also returned nicely when the battery got low. On 4/04/21 I was flying it and at @300 m it lost connection. IT did not return home, and I lost sight of it in the bright sunshine. I was unable to find it. I will likely replace it because I was very happy with it for the price. There is now a SG108 Max with a two axis gimbal and EIS software!!! Happy flying!

It should, 802.11b/g/n should be 5ghz WiFi which is 5.8ghz that the drones WiFi signal is putting out. So yes it should work with your phone.

I would return it, sounds like one of the motors is malfunction. Could be one of the wires pulled off as well, but you shouldn’t have to fix it yourself. I would return it and get my money back or exchange it if you can. Thanks for watching and for the get well. 😊

It’s fun, just very light weight for the wind. This is for someone that’s stepping up to GPS and brushless Drones. also you don’t have to register it with the FAA since it’s under 250 g.

Any suggestion for prop guards for this little fella? I have a DJI mini 2 as well, but got the SG108 for my kid to trash. Dimensions of the arms are very similar, but the DJI's motors are angled, whereas the SG108 is straight, so the guards for the DJI will not fit :-(. Flies (almost) as good, video is of course not in the same league, but a great cheap drone for beginners...

Thanks mate for this video! Like in my manual it state to download the App- KY-FPV! But this wont work and keeps telling me to connect the device! No where else i could find decent info on the internet what other app i might need! Finnaly connected this drone whit my phone thanks to you. HFUN PRO App does work and gave me video! But the performance of it sucks really bad it laggs like a slugg! And that renders the app useless for most parts set a-side it provides little info! What i dont understand is how it is so sensative to wind in comparement to the DJI Mini Mavic because this drone is a complete and fun rip off on that one. So could this be software or is this a hardware issue?!

It’s not possible with this one, that’s only available for the professional drones like dji, etc… this is a toy grade drone that is made to look professional.

The HFun pro drone app will let you control the drone with your phone. When you open the app to fly the drone on the very left side it’s a third option down, you’ll see a Phone image. Just press that and you’ll be able to control the drone with your phone instead of the controller.

First I wonder what phone your using? Also you need to do the gps compass calibration first and then the drones WiFi signal should show up on your phone. I was not to happy with this drone, I had problems on another flight with calibration and with the WiFi connection. If you still have problems with it then I would return it if you can. Your mobile phone needs to be 2.4ghz & 5.8ghz duel band WiFi. That way you can connect to the drones WiFi signal it’s putting out.

The only thing I could think of is to delete the app and reload it again and make sure you save your pictures if you got pictures in the app. I’m not a big fan of that H fun bro like I said in my video. They don’t work very good in a lot of drones.

Sorry to hear that. This drone has problems, I would return it if you can. I had problems when reviewing it, I was having calibration problems as well. These drones from China. The quality control is horrible. I definitely recommend saving up for a DJI mini or mini two, well worth it. Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Is your phone duel WiFi band? iPhone 5s to the latest model has duel 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz WiFi band. If you only have 2.4ghz WiFi then your phone will not work with the drone app.

Sorry I don’t have quick response. Does the drone fly? Is it just the camera image is not showing up? You may have to delete the app and reinstall it. I not sure what is happening without being right there.

Did you order from Remotoy? If so you will have to look at there return policy. I think you have 14 days to return it and I believe you will have to pay shipping. So definitely check out there policy on there website. I think mine took 2 to 3 weeks to get to California, so I’m not 100% sure on the delivery time. Thanks for watching

I haven’t flown this orange sg108 for a while, I been recovering from medical issues. I was sent the new sg108 pro, it has a 2 axis gimbal with electronic image stabilization. Soon as I get well enough, I will review it.

@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC I tried to do this, but it only shows on the screen that it is switching to HD but does not change anything about the quality, and it still stays in the applied "SD". I did tests on other apps, it also hasn't changed

@@lucasgile i have found the same, i press SD but it does not change to HD. The photos and video is only recording in SD and cannot get a HD recording or photo. I have tried different phones and still cant get it to switch to HD, did you find a solution?

What ever man , I been struggling with fighting off cancer and this was the only day I was well enough to get out. So just click skip and move on to someone else’s video I guess.
