Got to give you credit man... This will make MY job of pulling the steering column SOOOO much easier. I KNOW it was tough filming & working on stuff. AND you did it. THAAAAAAAANK YOU man.. Well done.. You made my day ! ! !
Make more videos on your s10, this was the most helpful video for me to watch. I'm tearing out my brake booster and its right above the steering column (of course). Can't really reach one of the bolts without taking the steering column out and this video made that so much easier!
So glad the video helped! And greatly appreciate the compliment. I hate hearing my own voice in videos lol but figured if it could provide someone with a little assistance it’s worth posting.
very awesome video, you did well! Thank you! I need to replace the turn signal lever, dealer finished breaking it. Wipers are stuck on high. I have to take the fuse out to keep off. Have to move just right to get the blinkers to work. Turn them on and off manually, carefully. My sleeve caught it one day, I broke but was functional. I asked them to not touch it much. They were figuring out what happened to the electrical part why the light inside was staying on. It was listed broke when came in on the paperwork. Therefore, when they "broke" it they didn't have to fix it. We had it out. Was a friend of mine. They said sorry, but sorry does not fix it. He said he just kept messing with it, because it was a little floppy. Anyway very good video. I only learned about you tube about a year ago. Before that I just watched guys , and asked questions. Try to do myself. Not enough money to pay mechanic.
Thank you sir for this real world view of a very tedious task. A task I am now equipped to tackle as long as I can refer to this video! The Chilton’s manual would probably list 7 steps, with no fastener size references, half of which would direct you to other chapters, and a bonus tiny photograph for clarification. You have done all us weekend wrenchers a true service.
So very glad this video has been of assistance to you! The whole reason I do them when I can. Just wish I had more time to do them on everything I worked on.
Randy Great video You are so meticulous in your narration and explanation. I love it. How you can hold the camera and still undo clips very impressive. I found out everything I needed to know. Thank you very much.
Good video, had to stop n pause to 👏 the Gen1 fuel impact lol.(milwaukee nut)..OK done everything up to 11:35 about 600 times rewiring quite a few S10s, don't really know why I'm still watching to be honest..guess you're just a likable guy! Anywho..reckon I'll keep skipping around..hey tho! Am looking to put a custom column in my 99 Zr2 so maybe I can screenshot some wiring locations .there! Now I have a reason lol...OK have a good one buddy!
Hi, thank you for sharing this. It was very instructive. I was wondering though, do I use this process to change my driver's side spark plugs too? I got stuck on my last one and I want to make sure I'm doing it right.
Great video. came here trying to figure how to unsnap the plastic without breaking the tabs. Wish i could reach through the video though, and pull that tilt lever straight out for you. Lol You probably realized that by now. :-)
Sorry it’s taken so long to reply it’s been a busy week. Hoping my video was of some use. Here is a link to another video I found on RU-vid that may help you out as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pykDPnTrFyM.html
I just approve random videos I spy m18 tools in....lol, nah trying to make a 94 column shift work in my 99 zr2, as I CANNOT find anything billet that fits and the 2006 denali lever works but its SUPER close to the bezel hvac etc. Not a fan, although I did like having the tip haul button running my extra Reverse leds( helped with my mediocre backup camera at night)
Shew man I don’t know I’m just a guy that was just making a video to try and help out the next. Wish I could help yah out but unfortunately I’m not sure
@@armyleegreen oh ok. That piece you said you didnt take off that's on the fire wall I cannot get that damn piece off lol. Hit it with a hammer and everything
