The steering in my 1998 S10 is very sloppy. Would you ever buy a steering shaft from a junkyard? The one's I see online don't look the same as mine. My cousin's maternal grandpa runs the local junkyard and he has about 20 S10s and Blazers. I was thinking if there was one in good condition I would use it.
@@thefixerofbrokenstuff did you replace just the rag joint by the steering box or the lower section of the shaft as a whole? Prior to posting this question I have not looked to see if you posted a parts link, but in the off chance that you didn’t, where did you get your and how much was it? Appreciate it. I’m in southern VA, for purposes of the map you talked about. Thanks in advance for your response.
