I got 2 coats from different stores. Apparently the cashiers and myself were distracted and did not see it when I Payed for them. It was Christmas last year but I didn’t noticed until I was reorganizing my closet. Thanks a lot for the tip. I will try to use this method. Hopefully, it will work for me as well.
🖐😳 I almost got it to work but couldn’t take listening to that mind numbing music in my kitchen. Solution? Scissors got that sucker off in 5 seconds! ….and my Johnson loves the new air conditioning!
I would use my old sets of forks, which I did in this video. Just use it only enough so that you can use another prying device to remove one end of the security attachments.
They're removed with a strong magnet. I worked at Nordstrom for years and every cashwrap has the silver magnet mounted on the counter that removes them. Btw, there is no ink inside.
Thank you! It worked! I got home and realized there was still a tag on one of my shirts and I did not want to drive back to the store. You saved me a ton of time!
To anyone else that sees this use a magnet instead. With a strong enough magnet it will lift the pins on the inside and it will come off. I’m seeing this fork thing all over the Internet and don’t understand why the magnet method is not being shown off more.
@@mikemikemikemikemikemeup because not many people have a random magnet laying around. The point is not to have to drive back to a store hun. I saw that method too though.
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I was worried about that too. I used my old forks that I didn't care if I scratched or bent them. I hope you find a way to remove the security tags.
omg ur a life safer! thank you. i bought a dress from an online thrift shop and was surprised to find this thing on it. glad that i dont have to throw a beautiful dress away or damage it
thank you, thank you, I have had a dress from Florida that I couldn't remove the tag left on by the stupid csshier about 4 years ago. I got it off using your method within 1 minute.
Eres un sinvergüenza , es una incitación al robo . Había que ir a tu negocio a hacer lo mismo , y yo si eres mi empleado desde luego no te contrataría en mi empresa.
Thanks.. after 30mins of trying hard, and using all the methods including burning, pulling with plastic bags, 2 fork method.... Finally what worked is a fork and my 100% strength of pulling it....ufff!!! It was from an online store, didn't even have an option visit the store to open this
Ok i tried the 2 forks and didn't work. I found some wire pliers we had here and was able to cut off the small round white thing by cutting it up to pieces. then pull the big part right out.
No ink in this type of tag, its easier to return to a store and get them to remove it, just show proof of purchase. I not, just use a large magnet from an old hard drive or similar strength magnet. Its much much easier and take a fraction of a second not several minutes of fighting. The magnet pulls the catch off the divot / indentation in the pin and they slide apart very easily. Tags with ink generally are more bulbous or at least have the ink pouch more visible as a deterrent, and even these are easily defeated using a lighter or other heat source. In stores with a bakery you will find tags melted and hidden behind areas that are not on camera or with high footfall because the bakery masks the smell of the tag being melted off.
You know these are just theft deterrent devices. They still end up on our clothes. With self check out my choice of paying I've brought many of these home without knowing.
Not the one- mine red, narrow like yours but no distended button- little button that presses down a little - sound icon on same side. Opposite side nothing important on it … So intense
Oh boy tried this DID NOT WORK I couldn't place second fork over the first one. I got this blazor from a mom & pop shop old lady owner, just noticed it had alarm after 1 month of purchase. I doubt she has alarm removal device but will see her tomorrow.
My fork literally broke and the damn tag did not budge one bit. The tag is very basic and I have no idea what is made of, nothing I've done has worked, I even broke it open from one side and nothing budges.
Your fork hack doesn't work on me. My mom got this yard baby sock for my cousin baby and there was a security tag. So your hack doesn't work and is making me feel really upset about it.
Thank you soo much, this is working very well 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, we tried right now 🤩 and we are very happy, because this store was to far away to get back, thank you ❤🙏🏻, we can relax now 😊
I will try dress i got like 4 yrs ago and forgot to take it back to the store and when i did the lady said that thing to remove it they dont have them anymore
If you want quick and easy, use a pair of diagonal cutters. Start cutting away the plastic on the small side (the same side he originally put the forks on). It took me about 4 attempts. The first 2 or 3 were only cutting small pieces of plastic off, and then finally I was able to cut the entire small plastic piece off. That left the metal pin with a head that was too large to slide through the clothing (think of the pin as a nail and the small plastic piece as a washer that also encloses the nail head), so you take the diagonal cutters and cut that head off. It truly is quick and easy. At no point was I thinking I might give up -- I could see continuous progress in my efforts. I suppose everyone has forks though and might not have a pair of diagonal cutters, but an inexpensive one in the $5-$10 range will suffice, you don't need to spend on a more premium one, and you'll likely find other uses for it to justify buying it. In hindsight, it might have been easier to cut off the plastic on the raised part of the large side. With that cut off, a small spring should pop out as well as the piece that holds the pin and 4 small bearings. Of course if you have a strong enough magnet (don't throw away an old hard drive without scavenging the powerful magnet it contains) that would be the quickest and easiest method.
