Would love to see a video of putting it back on which is 100 times harder! 1- you need to focus on the top 5 clips. Once you get those in put the 10 MM bolt in loosely to hold it. The Grand Cherokee Summit door panel is quite heavy and the tweeter speaker connector will detach easily leaving the retaining clip broken. Get someone to help you hold the door panel as it can get quite heavy as you are trying to align top clips. Once top clips are in place check tweeter connection then slowly position each clip before applying pressure to seat them!
Hey. I’d be curious if the speaker cover fits snug on the panel and is vibrating against door, or has some minor slack in its attachment to the panel. Maybe something like felt tape that could act as an insulator on the back side of the panel around the cover?
any difficulty doing the drivers side? I have a 2021 that I just took delivery of and the dealer will need to replace the drivers side door panel which has every electronic possible it seems LOL.
Hey! In most applications the panels on both driver and passenger sides are removed with the same process, only difference being additional plug in connectors to disconnect on the drivers side. The electronics will stay fastened to the panel and simply unplug from the wire harness on the door itself.
