Keeping them separated helps the leafs to frow bigger. I had so many in one tub. But thn i just pit one plant in individual tub, tht really helped my plants to grow, like it was breathing freely😇
I planted one in a mostly shady area where most things don't thrive, and it IS thriving, expanding, blooming and duplicating tho I've not used any of it yet.
Okay just to make it clear: The yellow liquid contains Aloin which CAN be poisonous if taken in a large amout. If you digest a small amout it's just working like a laxative. Some Aloe Vera plants contain more Anthranoids than others making them not edible however people are making many more breeds that are edible because they contain such low amount of Aloin you'd need to ingest a lot to actually suffer from being poisoned. It's all up to your kind of plant.
For four years I've had a tumor on my face. I put fresh aloe leaf on the cancer, and in two days the tumor reduced in size by 60%. No irritation on my skin.
I love to see how his Aloe grows in a bowl, showing you don't need a big garden patch.. I've never seen that before! And I like that his type of Aloe is thin with white dots... I've never seen that kind before either...that shows there are many different varieties of the plant which can be cultivated.
Mom has a big ol aloe vera in a pot. It started having a mini version growing next to it. The smaller one is the same size as his while her main jumbo vera is the size as store bought, but it only got that big cause mom never used it until 2 years in, letting it get jumbo. I'm guessing since he probably uses it often it doesn't sit around and get super large.
I have a cut leaf of aloe or agave (less aloin than aloe) in the fridge in a glass of water soaking all the time to allow the irritating aloin to be exchanged with the water. In this way I can cut off a little piece, slice in half to rub the gel on my eyes anytime I get dirt in them or irritation. Works really nice and no stinging from the aloin. Lasts weeks that way in the fridge until finally the gel gets too thin.
I am growing a Aloe Vera plant and thought of getting some more to grow, however, I did not know about poison in the Aloe Vera, but I learned it now. Thank you very much for sharing this info.
I heard from an old man in India who has been harvesting aloe for many, many years that the yellow stuff is not poisonous but a real good laxative that some people maybe be too sensitive to.
Okay normally I will pretty much instantly stop watching instructional videos that do not have voice, but this one I watched all the way through and feel emotionally touched by it. Nice choice in music! 😄💞 so wholesome and good-hearted-seeming instructions. Thanks. Best to you
I use aloe on my hair every two weeks after I deep condition. I always let it soak for five minutes in a bowl after I cut it in parts then wash it off. This way the yellow stuff comes off.
Although the video was slow, I do appreciate the details of how long to soak it for before applying it to my Hair as a pre-poo. I would normally buy it fresh from Publix, then slice it & do the steps to wash my Hair. I will will do this from now on & make a Smoothie with it infused in it
I don't believe it's poison, I mistakenly broke my Aloe Vera leave, it dropped the yellow liquid which I applied to my face, I woke up with my face look very smooth, smother than I have even seen it which surprised me. I had a pimple coming out that night as well and in the morning it all went. I haven't used the aleo Vera yet just the yellow liquid from the bottom.

There are two speices of alo which are useful. The alo u are seeing in this video is non edible and u can use this alo for skin and burns. The edible alo vera has no white spots on its mature leaf. U can also google it for full information.
I instinctively felt like the spotted ones aren't edible I have 8-10 alo plants at home, 2 are purely green...I ate only those plant's leaves. Spotted ones I use for face or hair 😅
Im still confused by the white spots. I have a large true Aloe Vera ( grayish green in color ) but have seen ones like this in other peoples homes that seem to grow very different and has white speckles on leaves. I took a few clumps from their pot and from what I’ve read, the white spots are a sign of a diseased unhealthy aloe Vera? I’m really confused on this white spot thing, including whether mine had white spots at all when I bought it as a small plant.
Alot of foods actually do , Avocado , banana , Chestnut Kiwi, apple, Carrot, Celery ,papaya , Potatoes, Tomatoes, Melons are some of the most common reactive ones although there are some others. It doesn't mean you will definitely react But if you have latex allergy you have 30-⁵⁰% Chance of being allergic to atleast one or more latex food . I'm severely anaphylatic to latex to the point Dr's even find it shocking yet only react to kiwi. I've just react to my plant for the first time as touched the yellow .
@@laura-jayne3656 I've had the latex panel allergy test, so your advice is solid. The list of foods that I can no longer tolerate seems to be increasing over time. Cinnamon and carrots are the worst, but the others do bother me. Good luck to us!
@@Anne--Marie latex is definitely a awful one to have and yes progressively worsens with contact which sucks. I've noticed more and more things becoming a issue also. Latex itself is deadly to me, these kind of things vary massively. Always annoying when something catches you out . I've used my aloe plant alot although I normally cut a tiny bit off at the top wasn't really sure what or how to use it. Regretting wanting to learn now lol . watched something that said should take it fully off. Regretted it quickly as the yellow went on my hand and things progressed badlyquickly lol. I'm no worried about touching / using it again. Latex allergy really does makes us need luck lol .
@@laura-jayne3656 Yes! Now I can't eat tomatoes and potatoes, which weren't a problem a few months ago. Being a vegetarian with latex allergies really does present challenges. Most of the fake meat patties have carrots or pea powder in them, so I have to make my own from mushrooms, walnuts and beets. It's terrible that you have the severe reactions to many allergens. Does benadryl help you?
I never clean mine. I just cut off a piece, slice it in half and slap it on my wound with a band aid on top (sometimes). Wait a few days and the wound is healed. Never had a problem with the yellow stuff.
Aloe Vera is one of the many healing plants in the earth. It has a very strong and potent smell, that's all there is to it. You just wash it off, peel it and use the gel for juice to cleanse the body and the green skin you can rub on your skin mixed with coconut, olive or vitamin E oil
I've been using it for my rosacia for the past sixteen years.its a life saver for me.and I eat its gel for acid reflux also..but it wash and clean the leaf thoroughly before I take the gel out which then, is not at all bitter.the bitter yellow secretion just after cutting is the poison and should not be consumed.
Check out this. It's clear, concise, and very informative: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M5CoT0uvVpI.html -- How To Prepare Aloe Vera for Eating and Juicing.
How do I get to heaven? Will my good deeds be measured against my bad deeds? Do I need to be a good person to go to heaven? How do I know if I'm good enough? Well the bible says no man is good, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So how do we get to heaven? Answer: By believing on Jesus Christ who took the punishment for our sin on the cross. There are no amount of good works we can do to achieve salvation because salvation is a free gift of God. We need to humble ourselves, realize we are sinners and that we need a savior. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Thank you Ujjwal. For others: "In biology, poisons are substances that cause disturbances in organisms, usually by chemical reaction or other activity on the molecular scale, when an organism absorbs a sufficient quantity." - wikipedia, merriam medical dictionary. So anything that goes contrary to a natural state is poisonous. If the stomach gets upset, it is a reflection of reaction caused by something that is contrary. Food poisoning? It causes an upset stomach with the poisonous elements in whatever you ate.
The entire plant is madicinal. The only problem with this plant is that it is too strong. Wild deer love this plant they eat it even though it has thorns on it. There is a book available which is called "cancer can be cured", and describes the value of aloe and it's value.
@@georgehimich330 Yes, Aloe is medicinal! It contains the eight essential glyconutrients which ensure that cell‐to‐cell communication is swift and accurate. In addition to the glyconutrients, several enzymes: • Endonucleases • Hydrolases • Esterases • Lipases are produced from the glyconutrients of Aloe Vera.
A lot of people eat the whole thing skin and all...(they might be bitter on the inside...that's for sure !....that stuff is bitter. I'll surely soak or drain that bitter stuff outa mine.)
I am so relieved to hear it is NOT poison. When I had an aloe plant, I would just cut a little off and put it on a sore, or cut. NEVER heard of any of it being poison. This video scared me at first. 🤭🥵 ⬅️me being relieved a plant I have been using and recommending for years is NOT poison as said in the video.
Hello, I use the whole leaf, I cut the spikes from the side rinse it off and blend it in a blender with other ingredients and drink it, I don't think the yellow is poison, I would be dead.
Quick Safe Practice Tips: .. 1:42 - Always slice/cut AWAY from you... Never slice towards you .. if accidentally blade slips, its going to cut your hand. - Gripping hand should always be BEHIND where the cut starts .. so that it does not come into the path of the blade. Cheers and Happy Gardening !
I'm Scottish and I always cut this way too, it's the way I was trained, you have more control. And this man's knife is really sharp which is more safe... again, more control. I loved the music too 😊
Peace and blessings. Yesterday I saw your video on using garlic and loe vera for use in the garden as a insecticide....and I commented that my granmma drank this liquid for cancer for 30 years and I have been drinking it for 3 years....I was being cheeky when I commented "didn't know we were drinking poison" in reference to your recipe...not saying that aloe vera was poison. We hispanics use aloe vera in every facet of our daily lives...it is part of our Aztec. culture. 3/20/18. 3:47 PM
Alejandra Parker Please share the exact recipe and how to prepare, how many times a day to have, what quantity before/ after meal etc. as a cancer preventive/ cure. Would benefit so many suffering people... Thanks.
Alejandra Parker it's true if it's not prepared correctly, it's poisonous. Aloe vera is known to have poison called aloin. Not only aloin is prove to be poisonous, those aloin was found to be carcinogenic for animals if it's in a really high quantity (6300 ppm) and suspected to be carcinogenic towards humans too (if the poison in the same quantity or higher). But that's only if it's prepared in a wrong way (which could stimulate the production of aloin)
Yellow dye gets out of the leaf once cut from the plant. Store bought individual aloe leaves would have drained the yellow dye already. It is not poison , just a laxative.
Yes it is poison. Aloe vera has three parts: Gel, Skin, and, Latex - the yellow liquid. Gel and skin are edible. Latex contains aloin which is harmful to the body.
So useful, thank you 💐 Have heard that extracted gel should be washed this way 7 times. Pls also share how to grow such healthy aloe vera in plastic tub. Must you make drainage holes at base of tub? What is the most easily sourced organic fertilizer? Hope often to water etc. Pls make a video on this.
It isn't poison but sometime too potent for some sensitive stomach if we didn't allow the yellowish substance to flow out. Let me tell you that the yellowish substance is best for infected wound, many time better than Aloe Vela's white cos I tried in many time over burn and wound. Cut out a piece of fresh leave and apply immediately and directly on to the burn or cut and it's heal without infection, allowing the yellow substances to spread over wound. If still hurt, apply again.
I tried several times to burn myself and hurt me ... are you masochist? :-) "It isn't poison but sometime too potent for some sensitive stomach if we didn't allow the yellowish substance to flow out. Let me tell you that the yellowish substance is best for infected wound, many time better than Aloe Vela's white cos" yes it's exacty!
Thanks for this video and it's actually right. Phle I used direct on my face and my skin started irritate and thn someone told me that you're doing in wrong way .
The yellow is not POISON! ! i have been eating aloe vera plant for years...is just fine. Really benefit eating the entire leaf dirt and all..greaat for the gut.
Nice video...Yes it's true, aloe Vera has lil poison. That doesn't mean it wud cause death, when used on skin u might get irritations for sensitive skin or allergic skinned people. So it's always better to follow this procedure if you need pure aloe Vera
That is why elchuri garu told to wash it 7times before consuming it as medicine, my fibroids got cleared when I had aelovera with turmeric, zeera n patika, thanks for ur tip

Fathima, first of all dry zeera, haldi n rock sugar for 6 hrs n make a fine powder of them in egual ratio. 1:1:1 each. Mix them n store in a glass container. U have to use it daily in empty stomach for 40 days with out fail. Now, use light shade aelovera leaf in 2 inch size which is peeled n washed 7 times. Now roll this aelovera piece in the prepared haldi powder n eat. U will see amazing results. This is a combination of aelovera n spices, good for any kind of uterus n fertility related problems. +indira priyadarshini zeera what is that rock sugar I din understand we can get sugar in packets here zeera mean Cumin seeds should I use haldi powder very different mix is sugar good for fibroid I am looking home medicine well aloe Vera can find but I need more information about rock sugar zeera haldi thnx that u reply me
Fathima Fazlina , its misri, or patika bellam in Telugu. Hard sugar like rock we use for kids instead of sugar. Haldi u may use pure one or store haldi, bcos we can't trust package food. Make 50 grams of haldi, 50 g of misri, 50 g of zeera into powder. Store it, n keep aside. Now peel 2 inch aelovera leaf n clean it in running water for 7 times. Now dip this aelovera piece in the mixture we prepared all d sides. It will take as much needed. Now eat it in empty stomach every day for 40 days. This has healing properties, believe n try. U will definetly have healthy kids.
Drank that yellow stuff several times I'm still here. That's the best part. That's where the bitter is. Although I must say I never had the spotted aloe before.
I would seriously cut these open as a kid and eat the inside without second thought, no wonder my immune system is so strong 🤣🤣🤣 I was literally eating poison 🥲
Ive been told once you cut the aloe, stand it up for 24hours so the bitter yellow sap drains out. Wouldn't soaking it wash away/dilute the potency? Not sure what to believe.
Shahnaz Sheriff there is only a tiny amount of yellow sap. The aloe is a clear thick gel consistency inside the green leaf that is usually peeled away. Some leave a little of the green leaves after removing the spiky part for use in smoothies. It is believed by doing this it helps with coughs.
Yellow is emetic/laxative.. Tastes bitter but not poison.. I stand leaves in an inch of clear to help the yellow drain out, up to 1/2 hour.. Using that much water will drain away some of the good stuff.. I rub my skin with the skinned leaves to get every bit of the goodness from each leaf..
Seriously get this moving! When I post my videos I get the damn show on the road just like people ask me to let's go! No worries I'll still support you!
Zera Watson Aloe Vera grows best in a hot environment. Not in direct sun. Here in England it is slow too. I have 3 plants in pots and I have them on the window sill in the hallway, but the glass is frosted glass so no direct sun.
I have an Aloe plant outside in the ground in direct sunlight for most of the year (Southern California). It grows to fast I usually break some off (2x a year)and place on curb to give away. So Yes it does grow quite nicely in direct sunlight.
@@susanm5363 they grow in Arizona in direct sunlight as well aloe needs sunlight to grow I just transplanted mine today it was huge and had a lot of babies different sizes and I live in Canada but the plant is on the window sill a window that faces south and whenever we have sunny days specially in the summer the plant gets a lot of sun all day long. This summer I will put some of them outside just to experiment some will get full sun and some just partial sun hope everything goes well 😊
That green liquid is called aloe, which is bitter to the taste but its not a poison, you can put the leaf to drain when you cut it or you could do what he did, or jus perl it straight and have abit of the aloe as well.
but after cutting my aloe vera it was extremely clear not a hint of yellow even after cutting and playing with the gel and skin. pure clear, whats this mean?
I once cut an Aloe Vera piece off & used it as a stud on the vent port of my ac unit. I used it for 3 weeks or so & on the 3rd week i got something else to use as a stud since it got a little week. Anyway while taking it off i with curiosity wondered what it tasted like & if it fermented, well after tasting even 1 small test lick it caused a very strong corrosive fume to go from my mouth to the back of my throat, it was very toxic & i knew it was poison. I honestly thought i would possibly die however i didn't obviously but ever since than i know aloe vera can be made into poison 🤫
I only cut what i use. I don't "grow" them (as to start a new plant). Maybe that's why I've never seen yellow. And thank you for answering that question lol. I was wondering if anyone was going to.
