Removing A Headlight Opening It Up And Dechroming The Insert And Reinstalling 

I remove the headlights, open them up and dechrome the insert giving the headlight a more modern look. I show how to remove it from a Nissan Frontier for a 2009+. This can be done with 2005 headlights and up from the Nissan Frontier/Xterra/Pathfinder. To open up the headlight I use 225 degrees in the oven for about 10 min. This temperature in the oven does not seem to harm the headlight. I then show how to dechrome and paint on the color and the reassemble them with new butyl.
