I looked on the net for advice, tried nail varnish remover, a spirit cleaner, no affect at all. Felt disappointed but found your video, bought some Benzoyl Peroxide cream, 5% actually, applied it to the affected area, and 24hrs later, not in the Sun, a 90% improvement. Annette-here is a sweet story...I have been diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the spinal cord.It has left me disabled,but I have been treated and successfully beat the cancer!!However,I am partially paralyzed and cannot work anymore.I took up reborning to relieve stress,and I love it.My husband is a dear man who is artistic,and has taken up reborning WITH me.Nothing like watching a man do reborning.He is like a man who won't stop to ask for directions,however.I had to look up this video to remove the reddest wash on a baby leg I have ever seen.Poor sunburned baby!!This really worked,and he has a new respect for tutorials.Thought you might get a giggle...thank you for the great videos!Love from Florida!
For those in USA, it’s Oxy maximum strength cream. Its not Oxy 10 here. Amazon had it for a little under $7. I made the mistake of co-sleeping with my expensive reborn while wearing a black nightgown. My nightgown is over a year old and has been through quite a few washes so I thought it would be safe but I was wrong 😞. I just bought some and I’ll try it for my little guy.
So I got the cream in the mail two days ago and tried it for two days. I didn’t put him out in sunlight as it’s been overcast here for two days. I think it’s faded, but still there. I’m doing it again for another two days to see what happens. I’m trying a thicker layer too. I’ll try to update again when two days are up. I’ve heard you can try it again and again until the stains come out.

I used a tube of Clearasil Benzoyl Peroxide. Made a paste with Fabuloso...smeared on the stains. Left over night. Washed clean and the stain was almost completely gone. Did the same procedure 1 more time and the stain was completely gone! NO BAG>>>NO SUN>>just left it on the kitchen table over night. AMAZING!
Like you, I have tried SO MUCH to clean a dye mark off my new reborn! I feel so bad for holding him on my black dyed shirt and I tried everything from toothpaste to diluted laundry detergent. His fingertips, nose and Cupid’s bow is dark, like drawn on with a pencil. I have been freaking out until I found this! Thank you I will try it out! 4 days later edit: It worked so well! They are only a tiny bit visible, but it’s basically all gone!

I gave it a try riding them dark marks from my Sofia The First Collectables with acne cream then laying them in the sun for couple of hrs, IT WORKED:D Gracias hun, Yr the best^^
Omg thank you so much for this video! I just got a gorgeous reborn and put her in the same beg and she got paint spots all over her body. I almost cried because it's my 1st reborn. I hope it helps.
Would this work on silicone vinyl doll's (soft vinyl) along with working on (hard) vinyl doll's? Thinking of trying this on: PJ Sparkles doll by Mattel from 1988 (she has a purple spot on the back of her leg) along with a high tech silicone doll released in the early 2000 era. 🤔✌ I don't want to say which doll in the early 2000 era because there are several I'm debating whether or not to get that are all high tech doll's but all extremely different from one another at the same time as well.
Thank you. I use this method to get marks and stains off American Girl Dolls. Have you had success with this method removing blue dye stains made from clothing?
I received a kit and it came with a mark (dark bluish) on the cheek. I did use this technique a while back and was so happy that it worked, however, even after painting, if you really look at the area, I was able to see where the stain was. But as you said, this is better than any other technique people try to use.
So I have 4 expensive kits with sharpie ink on them in several places....I am devastated. They haven't been painted yet. Will this process with oxy10 work on them? And how do I get my hands on it? It's not available in the US
Thanks it does work but hear in the Uk now winter coming up and no sun so will this take longer to work or even still work at all with no heat? Couldn't hear properly all you said. Works a treat in the conservatory in the Summer very well.
@@desireeovermiller9196 It did work removing aa blue stain like that from my "Charlie" by Ashton Drake, think I even did a video about it showing the box I put him in and everything lol. Ashton drakes are different to silicone reborns though, not sure what oxy 10 would do to the paint. Maybe test it on one of the dolls that's the worst anyway, and on a part of it's body covered by clothes most of the time, in case it does damage the paint.

I have a reborn doll with staining on her hands and face because of fabric and was so relieved to see this post!!!! I tried it and it's turned my dolls hands and face DARK blue...I'm so sad, it totally ruined her! Any idea what went wrong?!
Giving it a try on a silicone doll stained from dark lingerie. 10% benzoyl peroxide acne cream from Walmart. The stains are all over the body. And they are DARK.
I'm going to buy some oxy 10 in a few hours and see how it works I have a realborn Asher awake sculpt and he's my everything lol I hope it works because his stains are so bad it looks like he's been beaten 😭
It does not have to be specifically "Oxy 10" although in the US it is only a few dollars. I bought a tube from Family Dollar or Dollar General (can't remember. As long as the ingredients say Benzoyl Peroxide 10% this is what you need. To speed things up, after you apply the cream use a blow dryer. I found if you leave it on too long, as in the sun, the vinyl will get lighter than the rest of the vinyl on the kit. @@Babydollthing
did it work? I've seen videos of other people and they said that it stripped the paint off of the doll and like yours, mine is also my life, i just don't want to have the paint stripped as of i don't have the funds to have him repainted :((

Hi I would like to no why does the paint fade on the reborn dolls when they are baked shouldn't it last a life time cause they are baked ,I was hoping you could help me.
Depends where you keep it, if its in Sunlight it will fade. Best placed away from any sunlight but if the baby is years old I guess maybe the paint will fade. Again depends how its handled
ugh I accidentally used my face powder brush to powder up my silicone baby face she now has a bad case of streaky looking foundation face I don't know what to do it's not washing off with dove soap 😢
Thanks for the information ,I have learned a lot about reborning from you.😊 I have a question for you my doll has a burn shine on her cheek from one of those heat air gun things I used to try to set her heat set paint it had wrongly given buying instructions when purchased it online it was nothing as described so when I used it I held it to close and made a shine burn mark on her cheek😩 do you know a way to take the shine off? can i use oxy pads or no please help me my reborn baby doll has a big Sharpie stain on left side of her eyebrow would the stain come off with that or i have to buy the cream
+Lucero Paniagua i have not used the pads but i think the cream would work much better as it has to sit out in the sun with the cream sitting on the vinyl.
I stained my vinyl by not priming. Poor girl is stained peach and orange. Have tried soaking in ammonia, and then scrubbing with detergent and baking soda. Will this help me?
Don't waste your money on buying any Oxy 10. Not sure what the stain was on the reborn doll but I tried the process on a vinyl doll that had stains that had soaked into the vinyl and after 3 days in the sun with Oxy 10, there was absolutely no change to the stains.
I have tried everything on my babies and nothing works on them. my babies are stained from handling (nose, ears, arms and head) and shiny on arms, and it won't go away. The 1st is worse than others. I hust say she's well loved ❤
i brought a reborn doll Vinyl Silicone doll from amazon and i got marker on it i cant get off doses anyone know what takes marker off of it without ruining the doll
I have a doll that got lots of black marks frome clothes, now i have orderd oxy and will try it. I hope it will be less at least. In norway we have lots of days without sun 😀
oh wow didn't know they had an acne cream with more than 5% peroxide in Oz, I'll try to get this soon. I'm using Clearasil and it's not working on my journey girl she had blue leggings that stained her legs :/ Thank you.
