Publishing third video of Toyota C-HR How - To series. This video shows you how to remove the Head Unit. Watch out for more videos on removing, head units, bumpers, lights etc.
Thank you for making this how-to. In Denmark a seller has a product for the C-HR and other Toyotas to get CarPlay & Android Auto for the Toyota Touch II and this will help much with the install.
How much would someone charge you to do this? Considering an XLE 2019 but afraid I'll paid out the u know what for someone to install it. Don't trust myself enough to do it. Last question... would this void warranty with Toyota dealer?
Hi everyone, I am posting here because its related. Did anyone of you install a Teyes CC2 Android display on his Toyota C-HR? Really struggling with the metal plates and everything in the back. Cheers
Hello . I have been watching your films for a long time. many times your films helped me connect many devices. this time I'm going to use the video about disassembling the display. I have to do this to sign the link myrior. However, I have a problem, maybe you are able to help me, I would be grateful. At the end, the display is shown with the cubes plugged in, and I need to find the power supply, which cube is it? I greet and count on help.
@@carDIYs Hi! Thanks for the nice videos! I must say, you should do this video and post it. Would be helpful to many. Another interesting thing would be to post video to install HUD in C-HR 2019 model.
Actually this is not my profession. I am a software engineer and all the videos are that I created while doing it on my own car. Just filmed it thinking it would be useful to others. Definitely will make a video of this if I am going to upgrade my HUs
A rattle noise from this area have driven me crazy, but I could put some tissue inside where noise was from, and everything's resolved. I broke one of the hooks of the air vent but it really doesn't matter. It holds tightly with other hooks. This had annoyed me for an year, and today I can say it's all fixed. Toyota service did not solve it, but this video did. Thanks a lot.
I wonder which part is rattling? As I have similar issue now and it is so annoying. Me from Malaysia with RHD. The rattling sound comes from the bumpy road, whereas smooth surface no issue. It is at the middle panel nearby to the steering, it feels like the aircon controller back cover that is loose but im still thinking what is needed to sort out this sound. ARGHHHH!!!
@@DanJr-tw8ol Mine still does make sound, I thought I could fix it myself, but didn’t work. Mine makes sound from middle AC vents. I tried to reassemble many times before, but now, I just push the vent until it doesn’t make sound. It seems like Toyota is making many people mad with their bad quality control.
Heyy i too have the same rattle inside my 2019 jdm chr can you please tell where exactly it was coming from. Mine is a RHD AWD BOOST IMPULSE GT TRIM ONE
My UK version Icon Toyota Touch 2 HU did not come with any sim card provision, so not sure, if available in your version it should be inside the glove box, as I see this slot for sim & SD cards of my Audi Q5 2020 model here.
@@carDIYs Thank you, I would also like a video on how to disassemble (shoot) the middle, where there is the cupholders speed gear lever. sorry, translated from Russian into English
There's a You tube video of the russians doing it. You'll have to search you tube for it. That's where I saw it. They give all the info in the description.
