4 years later and still helping people. Took me 2 minutes of struggle to figure out something must’ve been bolted on the bench part. Found this video and knocked it out. Much appreciated!
No bullshit talking straight to the point video! Absolutely love it! Tired of guys making diy videos and talk for a long time before actually getting to the point.
You saved my $75. My seat belt was stuck and the traction was not allowing it to loosen up.. The mechanic was charging $75.. and I found this.. In 10 mins my problem solved.. Thanks again!
Thank you so much my middle seatbelt in my Corolla was stuck and this was just what I needed to fix the problem, instead of going to a shop and paying money
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ru-vid.comUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat
The two white plastic clips that attach the bench seat to the metal frame broke on me. Trying to find replacement parts for those is nearly impossible. I did find 1 set on eBay...but now I have to figure out how to exchange these clips. My husband dropped one into the metal frame while trying to remove it..Those flimsy plastic parts are such a pain.
I just watch these at the moment to compare. Under my rear seats is some sort of brown residue (looks like oil but stains and is runny like wet rust) and with recent stains showing through the seats and no seal leak in sight, I am wondering if it is this spot since under your seats and others, it appears to be dry
Honestly, just putting your foot inside, on the floorboard, instead of trying to do it standing outside leaning in,makes all the difference in the world. It still took three or four pulls on one side (first one came up great), but I'm no spring chicken anymore (60+). The vid was a help, thx.
Great video! I realize this might sound silly, but any chance you could provide an Amazon link to the sort of tool you used? I'm not very handy and don't even know that it's called. 😅 All I know is that it's 12mm.
Question: Is it legal to drive a vehicle without sits (except the driver sit obviously) in the US? I really don't use the car sits (in the car but I use in the house because look as mechanic stylish) and I have more room for mechanic tools as well. Also, I travel back and forth from Canada to US and I can sleep better without sits (and save on a hotel IMAO). Any idea, how to temporary remove the brackets?
