My goodness Spruce is now as loud as his dad. He has been a wether for so long I did not think he would still be following Blue or Momma around. We love to hear the different animals talking. I think one of the cutest things is how Herc greets you every day at the gate with one of his toys or bones!! 😅😂🤣. It makes me smile every time! It looks like he’s smiling also!! 🐶 😊❤️

Leave the eggs in the straw nest, when 6 or so just take 1 or 2 out always leave a few so they will keep using the same spot. LOL love it your having fun

So for future reference vets use a super glue to fill the wound whenever the nail is pulled off. The pet doesn’t feel pain because the nail bed is covered with glue😉

As far as Nala’s nails, take her to a grooming salon. I used to pay $5 to let them do it. There was no fight at all. Cheaper than the vet.

Spruce is so vocal. I love hearing him talk, too. I love the relationship Shannon and Kyle have with all their animals. 10:48 yep… because he was a bottle baby, and he imitating you two by being very vocal. Blue wears pants, and she’s so adorable. 🥰 The babies are growing so fast. 14:40

Happy Easter y’all!! I love that you’re extending the pen out away from the goat shed. I suggest that you put in a gate big enough to drive your tractor through. That would save time when you’re cleaning out the used bedding.

You need to use a dremel on Nala. My yorkie’s nails are black and I got her too. She can’t go to a groomer because she’s a rescue furbaby and she’s very nervous around strangers. But I use a dremel on her nails and it’s perfect. I bet you and Miss Nala would really like it. Any way just a suggestion. Blessings from OKC❤

I am so thankful to watch the Doss Family. K&S makes me wish I was young again and with the same land here. The things I would do . As you plan the lay outs, you have a wonderful tractor , Make all your openings to your farm wide enough for the tractor and the rack it has. If , yes IF I only knew. Plan ahead to use your tractor for every use on the farm. Thank you for sharing.

I can't use clippers on black nails -I nipped one with the clippers and it has taken quite a bit of work for my dog to allow me to work on the nails again. Have switched to cordless rechargeable dremel type tool. You can tell when you are getting close to the quick.

You should add on to the shed so you have more group shelter space, then fence in the rest of the area where you moved the snake shack. 😊 Also, guineas are seasonal layers. They lay in the spring and hatch early summer. If you move the eggs, they will stop laying there thinking a predator found them.

When clipping animals claws and they bleed. Use baking soda to help stop bleeding. It works on birds, dogs, and cats.

Yes after the last frost, it’s perfect time to start planting. Now even though the frost is gone you still need to prep the soil before planting seeds or pre starts plants.

Evening Kyle and Shannon. Great job clearing the old hay stack. No more unwanted snakes in there again. Sounds perfect to put a gate and extra panels to extend goat pen. You could put a little bit of crazy glue on Hurk’s toe to keep it from bleeding and in turn it will heal faster. It works as long as it’s not bleeding or wet when you apply it! I even use it on my own small cuts and is great on paper cuts but I put a little peroxide on first. No more burning when washing hands or dishes and it heals faster too!

Hello Kyle and Shannon! Theres a bllod stop stick. Called silver nitrate sticks. Veterinians use them. When they accidently clip the nail to close. It quickly stops the bleedinf. You need a prescription for them. From your veterinian. You can get them. From your local pharmacy. They might have to order them. They come in a box of 100. Individual packets of 10. Thought you might like to know about this.❤❤❤❤❤❤

The thing with dogs nails. The longer the nails, the more the quick grows out as well. So the quick isn't at the "normal" spot in the nail. If her nails are long, just do small amounts each time. The quick will recede. Love Bruce's "singing" lol
