beautiful rendition. She showed her abilty as a singing artist she can be creative with different emotion at the McCain's final farewell. Her singing was powerful enough to cause me in tears.
My Mom had a voice like this and sang at Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington. 1945. She made a one-sided vinal recording that I played on my phonograph. Speed was 78. She is 90 years young.

The microphone was used due to alteration's of the surrounding acoustic's from the stage set design of that of a fish bowl, which muffled the "Diva's" voice. Yet the diva adjusted after a couple of seconds and just like that of a professional she continued to hold it in her hand even as it was not needed, this was a "new design set" yet for opera and its acoustic's it was too wet. As for Renee Fleming nothing stands in her way as its a most lovely rendition.
