Yes I think his poise and ease with space and timing comes from years busking. No one is as musically versatile at his level

8:22, 10K subscribers would have been in late summer 2018. By spring 2019, after the success of "Blind Eyed" in 2018, his channel had grown to 60K subscribers. In spring 2020 it was at 200K -- after "Humble", "Jenny's Tale", "Screech's Tale", "Money Game" and "Money Game, Pt. 2". In fall 2021 it was at 350K, after "Diazepam" and the growing popularity of The Big Push. In spring 2022 it was at 375K -- after "Chalk Outlines" and "Power". In fall 2022 it was at 425K -- after "Losing It" and "Violet's Tale". In late December 2022, just after "Hi Ren", it was 460K. Then his channel exploded. It started growing by 100K per month and passed a million subscribers in July 2023. Soon after, the rate slowed to about 40K per month. At the current rate he'll pass 2 million subscribers in about 17 months, in August 2025, but I think it'll pick up again soon.

I agree! I have been watching Ren busking in Brighton for eight years and fell in love with his singing voice and presence. His rapping is great but his voice is brilliant.

This was another brilliant ReNtake. Just Ren doing Ren things. Crazy runs and harmonies, filthy bars to remind us that he is also still a cheeky boi, and that voice that’s perfect for Sting/The Police songs. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into everything he does. We’re just lucky to witness it 🐰🕳️

Regarding your comment about dropping out the instruments... I think it can be safely argued that Ren can and does do so much more with less than most artists are capable of doing with too much! 😊

Please do The Hunger - really fun - Genesis, Animal Flow, Moneygame 1 and 2, (2 gives a lesson in economics to She Sells Sea Shells the nursery rhyme - u cannot miss this!) and all have awesome hooks. Power is brilliant and fun. Uninvited is all singing and soo cool, funny and light, his Beastie Boys tribute, What You Want, is hilarious, use of the Verve's Bittersweet Symphony is brilliant & a fab anthem to Britain, warts and all, and the Fatboy Slim retake - ditto. Ren says the new album he is working on now will be more of his singing I love his singing best too better than his rap .... but got to admit when he mixes both I kinds like it but there is no other artist like Ren though .that can mix different music genre together to sound so good ... smooth like butter 🧈
