Ren isn't just different musically and the way he can embody the different characters he creates. He is a different type of human being. I'm guessing it has to do to how close he was to not being able to chase his dreams, the years he spent stuck in his bed and watched the entire world move along while he was not able to participate. He just has another way of thinking, a different way of living, and his empathy and genuine personality emanates from him. ❤❤

Saw some early blogs, before he was sick. He was always empathic, kind and anti establishment. I'm thinking if the day he went "himeless" to understand from that perspective. He was born who he is. The suffering just burned away anything not true to his core, I think.

It isn't his music alone I love it's his thoughtfulness and unwillingness to give up! He is also such a giving person! His article " heart is where the home is" Kind of changed me and how I think. He's made me see i can do better if I try and things can always have the potential to be better. He is an incredible person and my absolute favorite! I'd honestly never come across someone as thoughtful as he is and just shows how much life he really has. He is inspiring!

I probably say this all the time, but THIS was the moment I knew I belonged to Ren forever. Wait. I mean this was the moment I knew Ren was a fucking genius. I found Dumb King Come to be brilliant -- funny, with extraordinary wordplay and rhythm, true to his rap roots and to battle rap tradition, and then so totally Ren -- positive, kind and inspirational, challenging us all to be better. I had no idea where he was going with it, and it made me kind of sob. You just have to love him. I went straight over and subscribed to Dotta, and I've recently been totally enjoying his Ren reactions. (Everyone becomes a reactor in the end!) Thanks for another amazing video.

Michelleshow is guy on YT who plays a kinda pantomime villain "hater" character. He looks like a pokemon, but ugly with dreads. He is quite funny actually. His real name is Eugene. Knox mentioned him in his Stan diss. Kombucha is a fermented tea drink, but you make it using a culture. Ren threw that line in just after a reference to "the culture" (Hip Hop culture) in the previous line.

It's cool 'cause Dotta really is taking Ren's advice, and living up to the attention Ren threw his way. He's got a new LP dropping at the end of the week, he just killed doing the MG1-3 reacts, as well as the Tales, and he just got 5k subs today! It's just wonderful to see all that neg energy turn into a positive. Ren set it in motion, but Dotta is seizing this opportunity and enjoying his time to 'shine'.

I've tried watching his reactions and can't make it all the way thru any of them, I just don't find that he has anything interesting to say. His rap style just reminds me of the shit I heard that turned me off of rap initially. And I'm not saying he isn't talented ....just not up my alley. I find his 'bars' juvenile and unprovoking.

@@wowplayer7986 I think it's all about perspective.. if you think about it, some could (and do) suggest that some of Ren's themes are unsophisticated or without much depth, too, and I can perhaps see how they might find a jam like "What You Want" as silly and superficial, not getting the homage to legends like the Beastie Boys, and missing how well- constructed it is. And as Ren says in 'Power', his music is "old school, but I swear it's not a throwback".. Dotta's music is much the same, as his style is most definitely rooted in the early to mid 90's coastal rap battles and he touches on the origins of his sound and his influences in interviews, highlighted in some of the shorts on his channel. Like Ren, there's actually a highly stylistic, thoughtfully-framed formula to his rhyme schemes and cadences, it's just all more nuanced, a signature of back in the day.

So excited I didn't have to wait another day. Kombucha is a fermented drink that's brewed and contains live cultures. Michelleshow is a channel name where he (Eugene) is in a comic book world and calls himself a youtube hater. He stirred things up with this whole thing. He reacted to this diss and it was hysterical. Ren commented on that diss with a bunch of laughing emojis. It's pinned to the top of comments. You should consider reacting to It. Dotta just got into reacting and has reacted to a lot of Ren's tracks. One other funny thing, the day this came out, Dotta ate cake for breakfast. 😂😂

The anticipation waiting for this, wondering what Ren was going to do was crazy….. I ended up just trusting in Ren and went along for the whole ride, and loved every second of it. Because Ren had just hit his million subs, and has such a diverse fan base, he couldn’t just go full on battle style and destroy without spinning it at the end. Too many just didn’t understand what rap battling is, but this gave them an opportunity to experience it and still feel Ren lived up to his ethos of lifting people rather than pulling them down. MichelleShow kinda got the ball rolling by saying Knox was dissing Dotta in Killshot, and there were rumours that Dotta paid MichelleShow to react to his stuff…… watching Michelle Show react to this was fkin hilarious I have to say

I've watched this several times, and many your other reactions as well. I'm not hiphop/rap expert in any way, so that's perhaps the reason I don't comment very often those. Just enjoying them. But I've had this thought every time watching this one. I said in my first ever comment that I think you have what it takes with Ren. And this proves it, again. i listened to a stream by a friend of dotta who called him up and asked if that was the end of the battle with ren. dotta praised ren. his friend asked what he had for breakfast dotta said cake and they joked about it. i dont care for much of his stuff, but i feel he grew with the battle so all good.

It's not Ren related, but a new rap battle went down last week. This guy Nox Bond sent out a crazy email to Knox Hill, Cliff, BP, Anthony Ray, Dom, and several other reactors and said if they don't start reacting to his stuff they're his enemies and there will be targets on their backs.
