Yes... live version "how to be me". the Lyric video is a different experience .. good to see and enjoy too but definitley after the live version with the two in person.
Its the way the performance matches the lyrics as well. When he sings about being on his toes in the gallows he is stretching for the ceiling almost as if he is there.
I just have one question and that is why we are not hearing this kind of music on the radio?!? This is the type of art that helps grow creativity in society because almost everybody can find a way to either relate or to appreciate the art in there singing. And yes the topic is not about the BS that most mainstream music is. I've said it before and I'll say it again Ren is the Picasso of music in my opinion.
Radio won't play provocative music it's always been that way unless it's Internet. But unlike years ago times are changing and with RU-vid, SoundCloud etc guys like Ren can reach more people than radio and he can do it without conforming to the industry rules. But I know how you feel but its like they say if you build it, they will come. And it will happen :) thanks for watching 👀
@@marcandrewsingerofficial I truly am thankful for the internet I wouldn't have all this music to listen to and I really can't stand listening to radio much anymore because it's all just crud. I Mean I knew things were gettin dumbed down in the 80s when I was only like 10 because I have an eclectic taste and listen to music from all eras so I had seen and heard art and music that was full of meaning and creativity. But this is beyond dumb music they're playing today is not only dumb but is actually detrimental to society.
@@tommoxjr I think it's a mix of that and that the powers-that-be don't want stuff with substance and death because it creates thinkers and because it's way easier to mass-produce and shove out to the masses simple stuff that's easy to replace. But in doing this they failed to realize that people don't want mass-produced BS. I'm sure their numbers will start showing it. I mean go look up Eminem and Snoop Dogg's RU-vid page and check out their subscriptions check out their video play it's not as big as it should be.
Chinchilla style and her music is stunning. Mixed with Ren's creativity and range and their experience performing together it just makes this song absolutely breathtaking.
I absolutely love this song!!! I discovered Ren about 2 mths ago and I've never looked back!!! Ren is also in an incredibly, extraordinary band named The Big Push!!! Absolutely brilliant!!! What a powerful song !!! The imagery was dark and beautiful ... The vocals were great. The harmonies were just chaotic enough so that it felt honest and raw. EXACTLY like when my friends and I would go into this special concrete parkade after hours (midnight till 4 AM ish) and sing our hearts out at the top of our lungs. Harmonizing as hard and loud as we could to all out favourite power ballads (and some originals). It got to be that there would be 10 -15 of us guys and girls with acoustics and big voices. The security guards would give us a couple hours any time we showed up for a 20 bucks tip. This went on for about 6 months in the summer of '92 until one day the cops came and killed the whole arrangement. The owners shut it down and OUR security guard lost his job. Bummer ... but great memories and this song brought them all crashing back from 30 years ago. Those acoustics were the best. I could almost smell the concrete.
@@marcandrewsingerofficial ... We never gave up. We were mostly not interested in being Rockstars. I ended up in construction management and had a bunch of kids. On Wednesday nights I am a Karaoke Snob and that is exactly how I like it.

I've seen soany reaction videos from so many different countries and or places. What I've seen from the states, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, and Africa is that everyone has the same reaction to being over prescribed. I speak from experience. Past experience.
