My suggestion would be Ren "Blind eyed" feat Sam Tompkins. The og version has great production but the MC sessions version is amazing as they sing the whole melody as an incredible live acoustic performance.

Yup! Ren did that hook verse sample whatever lol Ren beatboxes as well 😆 the man, the goat does anything and everything. He can play any instrument and do any genre of music.

I was also going to say although he sings about physical and emotional pain in many songs you can almost see his growth processing it, coming to terms with it, and finding his way through.
Possibly, but I can't say for sure. He could of easily laid it on a track then started playing with the pitch, speed, distortion...etc to get his final product.
You should check out "Ren and Sam Tompkins - Improvising around Stevie Wonder". He raps like a rap god! Sings like a (fallen) angel and plays guitar like a demon! It's world-class and it's all live on the street! I think you'll love it! :)

Yes, Ren is the master of breath control. I read somewhere that he can hold his breath for 3 minutes. Not sure if that is true or not though. In Love Music Part 3, that last note at the end he holds it for sooooo long. It's my favorite part of Love Music Part 3.
I agree with other suggestions for The Hunger and for Murderer, but I think you would also like Animal Flow, followed by the acoustic version of Animal Flow, filmed in the back of a bus.
Heh, I was one of those folks who didn't understand anything about basketball and appreciated your explanation. Yep, the anininnahna vocals got me, too, in this video. I kinda figured it was him on the produced version but, man, it just hits in the acoustic. BTW, you mentioned your music but I didn't find it easily linked on your main page. Please include that if possible so we can hear your stuff, too. There's so many Ren-styles available. You like jazz, so look for an early busking video Wade In The Water with The Big Push. The great thing about Ren is his ability to reinvent songs when he does the acoustic versions….Animal Flow and Murderer both have acoustic versions. It would be cool for you to look at both the original and acoustic versions of them. My first Ren premiere and still in my top 5 Ren tracks is Illest of Our Time…..🔥🔥🔥
Genesis and murderer ironically are my two favorite Ren songs. it’s close for third. They might be castles made of sand. I don’t know if you’ve ever done that one. It was the extra track that he added on his album last second to make it go number one. That reaction is exactly what my reaction was that put this song over the edge to number one for me when I saw him do that when I thought was a purchase sample no, that’s him sick
