I have no words I just went on his twitch and watched him almost cry because he really feels deeply for people and want them to be good he is so serious about US and how we can be good in the world depending on the path we choose in life. There's that phrase money is the root of all evil, money don't make you happy and I see so much of that applied here. This was a realistic play, Broadway, poetic masterpiece. This guy should be getting every award known to man to recognise the genius and talent this guy has compared to what the world class as stars. He’s on a different level with how his brain works and we are all part of his journey.
I get home from school, getting my master's degree. I see that Ren has #3 up, "Oh Goodie" Tons of homework to do, I've been up all night, I'm older at 52, so to say I'm tired is an understatement. As soon as I'm finished watching, I have to run all around RU-vid to see how everyone in the Ren reaction world is being impacted by the artists we call Ren. Idk how long we're going to have him, but this is as rare as it gets... Love the reaction.
It wasn't in one take... there is at least one cut during the scene where he was in the wheelchair and it panned behind it. But that does not take away from this masterpiece.

It is only one cut, behind the wheelchair, cuz they only had one shot at getting the rain effect right or else all the money spent on that day's shoot went out the window

Ren has several "proof of concept" pieces, and this is one. He is pitching a show to Netflix that is like a musical Black Mirror (from what I have heard). Thanks for always having insightful reactions!
I don't think there'll ever be another artist like Ren. His output IS Ren and Ren will always do Ren best! :) Though we can hope that other artists are inspired by him to be just as raw, creative and genuine. It would definitely be a welcome development! :)
I could just listen to a whole album of just Ren singing 'Ooooo's' ! I don't know what it is about his voice that just soothes my soul! It was was also a nod to Violet's tale I reckon. And then there's the rain at the end, that without even singing it, he's made us remember the chorus of MG1 and 2 ; "Oh rain, rain, rain, rain, a storm it comes our way..." Just damn! 🤯
I was in shock after the premiere and still haven’t quite managed to come up with anything clever to say about this mind blowing masterpiece. One thing is certain, if Netflix doesn’t give this genius his own show (with Sam of course), they’re 100% stupid 😂

How does he keep getting better. this one had a bigger budget but he didn't get lost in flashing lights and disco balls... he is special. I'd buy a ticket if he had a show... (I'd buy a ticket for every show).

Rens work is so powerful. He creates movies in your mind, he touches us. He is so poetic with the timing of a genius. Ren has his finger on what is happening in so ety and huma its, and has the ability to express it in a way we can see it. He is the most exciting artist for 40 plus years. He is a serious artist, poet and narrator of life. He will go down as one of the ost important voices to come out of this generation.

Ren is a modern renaissance man. His obvious intellect is astounding, his musical chops is off the charts. I came across him through his busking videos and had no idea just how much he would upend my - and everbody else - thoughts about music, art and philosphy, Genius doesn't even begin to cover it. Like you, I am honoured to know him. I hope his treatment goes well so he can enjoy his coming worldwide fame.
Remember, Ren was signed by Sony in 2010, he's been ready to blow up for 13 years, at least, just waiting for death or life. We lucked out and he survived and thrived.
The way Ren say "give, give, mine, mine" when Jimmy was 1 year old and yet on Jimmy's 40 start to curse the words "give, mine", this gives me chillsssss 🌶
Ren is a genius. This was amazing, thought provoking and left me just needing to think and digest what I had seen. He really does want the world to be a better place. His message is so important and impactful.
At the end I think he chose an “empty” trigger pull because a gunshot makes you feel that there’s a death or an end. But here the “money game” hasn’t ended. He’s just a player that will be switched out.

Genius.. including how Ren had to mess up his suit, loosen his tie, open his collar while still rapping about the coke...globe spins AND then be done in time so when the the phone rings and the camera frames him in full view. In addition, there does seem to be a cut with the title sequence and in the mirror (mic is adjusted/hair is slightly different) and then the wheelchair cut for the first 'string section"... All in all, unlike anything I've ever seen. So, there's that !!

@Renmakesmusic is definitely one of a kind but I still feel even as popular as he is, he's still very underrated. Just because he is as different as he is. To me that is probably my favorite part about him. His musicality is unmatched and on a whole other planet. No matter what type of music he's doing or what instrument He's playing it just seems so effortless and like it's second nature. I think the same of @chinchilla,that's why when they do a project together, they work so well beinh that similar. Everything he does seems to me to hit you in your soul and/or open up your mind. @ThatSingerReactions i Second, the idea for ham to write a book and do a Broadway type tour like you were talking about. It's not that surprising, but hes actually a really good actor just watching him perform these songs. This could work on Broadway easily. He can write and re write to work with multiple players and get more of the story out with more scenes. I would pay to see it for sure.
I am speculating that the ending is Russian Roulette and the bullet was not in the chanber. What do you think? My three favorites stories to date are 'Hi Ren', 'Money Game 3' and 'Tale of Jenny and Screech (full)'. Ren is probably my most favorite artist ever.
Ren is rhe 🐐 of "our" generation! I just had my 39th birthday this past July, but ive never encountered an ARTIST such as Ren. He is 100% the definition of the word ARTIST. I for one, am sick and tired of playing the "Money Game"! Im just glad we have him to speak for the rest of us... And yes! We need to protect this man at all costs! He is a once in a generation srtist, that tells it exactly how it is. The world needs more of that rifht now, things are getting a little scary if you ask me.

Dude is so talented. Refreshing not to see an industry plant. He has collaborated with some of the most talented people I've heard in a long time. I'm glad I stumbled upon him. I'm a musician singer myself and I thought music, skill and creativeness was dead. Also if he were my son I would be so proud. Been through a lot and yet killing the game.

On his Twitch stream, Ren said he played only part of the piano at the beginning. Charlie Woof-Bryne was credited as the pianist in this song. Ren also said he composed the music for the piano and also for the strings.
