followed the playlist, and stoked to take it for a spin later, thanks Knox! would be awesome if i win the vinyl as i convinced myself not to spend the extra money on it (bought his digital twice, lol) - but whoever wins i'm stoked for ya! :D
Dude, you're ace & I really enjoy your content, but I have no Spotify account or any intention to create one - enough digital shizzle in my life as-is 😉 All the best with it though 😊👍 x
Funny thing it all started with a reaction to “Hi Ren” and got two very talented people from very different places to come together and support each other with such love it’s so amazing ❤
Hi from the UK. Ren's homie Viktus who often wears the pig mask and featured on 'Down On The Beat', is an independent UK artist who overcame severe mental health issues after losing his baby sister and becoming homeless for many years. Please support him by reacting to his incredible track , 'A New Life (Live Session)', by Viktus
I’m a 59 year old Irish man and a Ren fan since I discovered the big push a couple of years ago, (I haven’t been such a fanboy since I was a 15 year old Thin Lizzy fan in the ‘70’s) and I love this journey he has taken us on to date, Knox has helped us on the journey with his brilliant analysis and break downs, highlighting little bits and pieces we may miss. Thank you Knox I love your content ❤️
I feel you. I'm 57 in the U.S. and I can't remember being this obsessed about an artist since Meatloaf, Bat out of Hell was the first album I ever owned, and Ren amazes me so much more.
This remains one of my absolute favorites from Ren. It's so emotional, and having been knocked flat by life and climbing back to my feet to get knocked back down again (rinse and repeat), I feel it to my core. Plus the singing in this is unbelievably good, even for Ren. So glad you got into this one! ❤❤❤
You son of a fridge, I'm in! I don't even own a vinyl player, but I believe we're witnessing a Freddie Mercury level music milestone with Ren here and I want a piece of it :)
That background vocal- "Ahhh eee, blue, blue, blue, blue, bluuuue" gets me every time. Funny how something so small and not even in the forefront, can pull you in and hook you. More Ren magic.
Rens musical ability is impeccable. The amount of versatility and genius in every one of his tracks makes him such a teacher. There are so many things students of hip hop can learn trying to learn from Ren. Once of a kind rapper, singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist
What I love about this song, and so many others from his early days, is that he was creating them for himself. He didn't have an audience but the stuff he was creating was soooo good. And it all stands up today. Artistic integrity at its finest
Great analysis. Thank you Knox for your professionalism and your emotional note and connection with what you do. Ren is an amazing inspiration to everyone and it's really wonderful when you support each other.
Knox, I do not have the ear to hear the bar, especially the first several times I listen. I love listening to your reaction…you enhance my understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of Ren’s music. Thanks for sharing your talents and insights with us.
Knox, I'm surprised you've not reacted to this one already. I'm glad Ren mentioned you should. It's powerful.... the music alone hits you, but then his poetry send you as do many if not most of his songs. As usual, I get to muchore from it watching one of your reactions. Thank you. I hope your new song is getting lost of play, bit deserved it, that for sure.... ❤❤❤❤. Yes Knox it's beautiful....
great reaction! Love this song and it seems to get passed by a lot so I'm glad Ren mentioned it and you took the time to check it out even though it's a bit older. And that line... In my boat without an oar but I still make my way to shore in this ocean blue ... to me that is Ren's journey, he didn't have a way to propel himself forward, he had to be patient and let the waves bring him along, but they were taking him the right direction and when he finally got there, he was ready
Without music, I wouldn’t be where I am today nor will I be anywhere in the future! Thank you Knox and Ren for adding such great vibes into the universe, thank you for being amazing role models, keep doing what you do 💜🙏 A Knox AND Ren vinyl?! Just saved the playlist! Hope you consider me 🤞
On my Ren playlist I have found almost 200 songs & still counting?. . with Ren (not counting all his other content) going back like 12 yrs... I may like some more than others but i cant say i have disliked even one track. His catalog is insane. (Edited) Make it going back 14 yrs- just found video for "power of unity" track
😂😂 agreed... his catalogue is incredible... feels like it is all I've listened to for the last 11 months, it's mad But I was listening to a recent interview he did whilst in LA, and he said he has over 1000 more songs on hard drives 😮😮 I don't think I can cope 😂😂
Another arrow to add to Ren's musical quiver! If possible, highlight some insights on Ren from Uncle Momo's Dear God reaction 🙏 After the song ends, Uncle Momo pontificates fortune.
@@ryandoyle4344 which it's alright? The big push one or the one off Freckled Angels? Both are great but I like the Big Push one just a little bit more.
I know Ren thanks to you. I don't have the words to express how much I am gratefull for that, I missed that - feeling something, not just liking the music and vibes. Also I have lots of fun watching you interacting with each other, it's like "omg, is that a crossover episode?!'. Knox - you're doing a great job, I'm waiting for more reactions and breakdowns.
I love this song, and you can definitely see some of the themes in it evolve into the direction he has been going lately. Really hoping we get to see more of you and Ren doing bits together when he is back in the UK, though I appreciate that you both have lots to work on and don't want to lose sight of solo projects. Hope you're having fun with Sam this week though, and that nothing has shrunk in the rain!
thank you for reacting to this one, great break down, I have followed Ren for years so glad he is getting the love he deserves and also love your friendship with him two great artists ❤❤
I think I did everything I was supposed to do to enter this contest. Ren is so stuck in my head and I truly enjoy watching you break his art down. Your songs are also on my playlist. ❤❤
Love your attention to lyrics from a deeper and more intellectual perspective. You catch so much at a level that other reactors rarely do. And thanks for the playlist and the giveaways!
I've been diving through Ren's discography here and there over the past 2 months or so and I've loved every single moment of it, every track has it's unique story or theme which feels completely fresh Also just saying I followed the reaction playlist on spotify :)
Super happy I found my way to your channel. I don’t really like reaction videos but I’m starved of appreciation for Ren and was delightfully surprised to discover I really like your insight and observations.
Done. Been loving your reactions and music for a long time now Knox and I’m so happy that you introduced Ren’s story and music to me. I relate to Ren’s story so much and its made a huge impact on me.
Love your reactions and the music you create :) Never really followed rap before and was brought into this world by Ren's music. But i'm loving all the other independent music I'm finding as i go. So I appreciate the breakdowns and I had no idea there was so many hidden things within the music! Followed on spotify!
@KnoxHill. I saved and followed your playlist in Spotify. I love Ren’s Poetic Power. He leaves no stone unturned in his powerful exploration of the deepest recesses of his own soul. Who needs a therapist when you have Ren’s music, coupled with the commentary from the people who react to his music. He is the most important artist of 2023.
Followed Ren the last 5yrs now so to see him finally get where he belongs and not sell himself out to the highest faustian bargaining record company is really 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻✌🏻😎✌🏻
Great reaction like always ready for you is such a great song. I also followed the playlist and look forward to checking it out in the near future much love brother and keep up the grind❤
Another great song by Ren! I'm enjoying my Ren journey! Your Playlist is so diverse and I appreciate that it is so diverse! Good luck to potential winners and thank you Knox❤🎉🎉
I do enjoy the way you break down videos. Most reaction context is garbage, but you do it right. Everytime I watch a video from you, I walk away from it having learned something. Keep ip the phenomenal work and I cannot wait for more Ren breakdowns.
Looks like a great selection of tracks to dive through on that playlist (and of course, you've started it with an epic one ;) ) I think you'd like Ren's song Heretic, the video is a similar style and there's so much to dig into in it
Definitely glad when I started watching You tube that I started watching you Knoxhill and also really got me watching other REN’s music. You have taught me so much Knox!
Great reaction Knox! Your explanations and analysis are very understandable even for laymen, thanks! Rap was never my kind of music until I heard Ren! I love Ren's older stuff just as much. Just discovered it a few weeks ago. "Insomnia", "Heretic", "It's alright", "Depression", "Hold on", "Patience", "Penitence" These are all such great songs that I'm currently listening to up and down. It would be nice if you reacted to them. Best regards from Austria😉🍻
Brilliant reaction to the genius of Ren. I’ve always loved what you do Knox and your relationship with music and breaking down every song you react to is delightful. Love to you and to Ren. ❤❤
Hi REN brought me to your reaction back there. Your analysis got me hooked by its depth and your knowledge on music, literature, history and culture in general. Since then I’ve been following your channel. I admit that rap is not my thing but with your videos I am discovering that there is more to it than I thought. Thanks! I have now subscribed to your Spotify list too. Thanks a bunch!
I love watching your reactions Knox! Thanks to You i can dive deeper into Ren's music and feel it way more than when i listen to it lonely. Your knowledge is incredible, im gonna support You as much as I can ❤
So glad you got a chance to react to this one. It's one of my faves. Jazzed that you created a playlist. I'm very interested in checking out the songs you've chosen.
I'm so glad you finally got around to this one, it's one of my all time favorites and so slept on by reactors. Phenomenal job as always Knox! Followed your playlist, I've been meaning to get a copy of Butterfly Effect anyways. lol
I consider myself somewhat of a Ren aficionado but haven't heard this song before now. Thanks so much Knox, another insightful breakdown of one of the best musicians to grace this planet.
@conradschumacher4013 thanks I haven't heard anything off the demo albums. Are they available for purchase on Music Glue? I thought I bought everything available, but I'm still waiting on the post
