Yeah, listening to Ren can be quite exhausting. This, and many other Ren songs are so intensely powerful, heavy and emotionally honest, they leave me a bit stunned. Great reaction, Jayy.

He does have happy joking songs too. But his life been a struggle and he doesn’t try to hide the fact or its effects on his thoughts. His busking with his friend Sam Tompkins is mostly covers and less upsetting to watch. With the band The Big Push he has originals and covers, studio and busking. Plus watching these introduces you to Sam and T and the rest of the band, Romaine, Gorman, and Glenn, who are all super cool too. If you’ve seen Chalk Outlines, the woman in it worth looking into on her own, Chinchilla.

You are obviously a very empathic person. Ren’s story brings out the empathy in many of us. Shoot. I’ve broke down more then once concerning what Ren has gone though and what he is still going through. It seems so easy to love this talented young man. He is really special. I’m almost 60 and haven’t been this blown away by an artist, well, ever. It’s not just the music, which is on another level. It’s him as a person. Beautiful soul. ❤
