Brings me back so far...lost in my youth...lost at my first Renaissance concert in Montreal...lost with my best friend who died...lost lost in time...thanks
Basta chiudere gli occhi e sognare con questo brano molto rilassante interpretato dalla voce bianca della bella annie haslam accompagnata dai talentuosi musici renaissance ❤😂😊
Saw this great band around the same time as this concert was taped. My friends and I saw them at Massey Hall in Toronto and it was absolutely brilliant, especially at that venue. Annie's voice was the voice of angels. Magnificent.
Not one of the bands that would have dominated the FM airwaves at the time unfortunately. but the most underrated band of all time! When I was ten I literally wore out Novella, I was and still am into both Rock and Classical fusion. I have ten thousand more to say but will keep it. Love you Annie, John Camp and the rest of the band.
Getting chills and incredible memories flood back to the many performances I was fortunate enough to see in several venues in the Northeast. At their absolute prime here. Perfect!
Quando la musica va oltre raggiungendo la fantasia questi sono i protagonisti di una favola musicale infinita gloriosi e passionali questi indimenticabili reinassance molto particolare la vocalità interpretativa della voce bianca della cantante grande interprete ❤😂😊
This was insane! This live version of Prologue is just pure perfection! Thank you so much for this amazing upload, Ademar! Please put more from this concert if you have more! Please!!!!
Smoking performance by a band at the height of their progressive powers-I can only describe. RENAISSANCE AS ‘SUBLIME’, And I think John Camp on bass -has ‘out-‘SQUIRED -Chris Squire, ‘ , in this performance!!!!lol.
Absolutely stunning performance. Incredible footage and sound. Fantastic Ademar. Thank you so much. Can you tell any more about exactly where and when this was filmed? I first came across Renaissance via a film clip aired on BBC2s ‘The Old Grey Whistle Test’ programme in May 1976. The song they showed was ‘The Vultures Fly High’. I was blown away and became a huge fan, changed my life! I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they must have shown this exact filmed version of the song. Amazing to see more songs from that performance. Thanks again.
I thought this was the band that Keith Relf and Jim McCarty formed after the Yardbirds broke up. (Whoops) . . . . ABBA and It’s a Beautiful Day fans would like this.
Related. The band went through a few lineup changes. In fact, the original group reunited in the mid '70s but used the name Illusion for the group since this version of Renaissance was active. Illusion was the second album made by the Relf/McCarty lineup.
Anyone know where this footage comes from? The audio must come straight from desk, although it's unusual as there isn't a single mistake in the whole video. Who can throw some light on this?
