Simple video here today, this key was damaged by the owner when opening it to change the key case/shell...
Which at that time, also ripped some components out of the PCB...

A nice fix Luis! A other way to show how to repair. Personaly (because it is my work) I just swap the PCF chip to a new or good working second hand board. You can get new keys for something like 10€ .

Man.. i've done a few when i forgot to order buttons, i use to disassembly the button and clean the little silver contacts and put it back 😂😂😂

Thanks for the video , if one needs know everything about the car electronic it doesn't matter if it is a door handle , remote , O2 sensor and others ... good to know how to replace the buttons and test them ...

Some information , haha , like you wrote , check the battery ( also ) . You did a fine job again . Lately I don´t like to solder anymore . My sausage fingers are getting to old I guess . Tweezers are not my friend .

what type of glue are u going to use to seal the shell halves ? regular one component quick glue?

Great video, to us is special, thank you, always so informative. I'm curious though, what is the difference between the unlock and lock command? My clio 2 computer box was changed to a clio 3 but my key fob shell only has one button, so I can only lock via my key. Clio 3 has two buttons. Any idea how to fix it?eg transfer the identity chip from key to new key?

Yes... you should be able to do that... From the top of my head, I can't remember now how those keys are internally... But check it, some they are actually the same, but with the missing button and a couple components... Thank you for watching and for your comment!

I have a problem with my 2 keys on my bmw 5 series gt (2009). My keys, sometime open the door and close and sometimes not. Also when it doesnt open, it wont start the car either (keyless go). Changed car battery and key battery but the same problem. I have checked for error codes with bmw program ISTA-D but none showing. Any suggestion.? I would bring the car to you but i live in a different country.

@@Mr.Januzi I would the live data for the antennas... I admit, that if is an intermittent problem, can be a bit tricky to diagnose... But it might be that live data will give some clues about where to start...

I m having trouble finding a good supplier for micro switches. My suppliers keep a very limited range. I keep around ten 2 and 4 legged types. yet I still have to modify some switches to fit sometimes, which is not ideal in my opinion. Where do you get your switches from?
