Renault Captur review | It HAS to be on your shortlist! 

5:50 "Overall this car is pretty good looking..." Quite mildly put I'd say. It's looking awesome. Will get mine in about two months.

My wife has the S Edition 130 TCe as reviewed here, however hers does not have the "flying" console as in this review. All the reviews seem to have this console, but in fact I've never seen one in showrooms that has it. They all seem to have a conventional console, and perhaps that is the reason that her automatic (& others I know of) most emphatically do not have any trace of hesitation when pulling away. It's also worth mentioning that the S Edition has wireless charging (not just the USBs the reviewer refers to). While my wife is not too bothered, 2 things about this Captur drive me mad! Firstly the radio always comes on, when you power up! Why?? - if I want it, I know how to turn it on - wish I knew how to turn it off! Second annoyance are the automatic headlights - even in good daylight under trees or under a wider brigde, the dam things come on & the display suddenly changes to night mode and it must look like we're flashing cars in front. To end on a positive note, the auto handbrake is brilliant - every time you brake to a halt the brake comes on and it goes off as you accelerate to move off. No lever pulling / releasing, no rolling back, it's brilliant!

Got one for almost a month! Great car for who lives în a big city. My wife loves it. Here in Romania the prices are very low: 17.500 euro for the top version, called here Intense, with everything you'll ever need, including navigation and 360 degrees camera. 1.3, 130 HP, manual. 😀

It looks like a car designed by Apple, rather than Renault. Lots of tech and gadgets to play with and a bit different. Will probably appeal to the new driver generation, although not for me.

Did you say there was a petrol version? Renault don’t have a habit of retrofitting an EV setup into a ICE designed car. The infotainment is very laggy too! A lovely rental car! Just wouldn’t wanna live with it....

My neighbour got one of these automibiles and I usually copy them on whatever they get lol be it cars bikes doors doorbells men women lol and spa tubs anyway I always wanted one and decided to get one lol top of the range better than one John Locke 👆🏻drive but same colour as this one lol but neighbour been upsetting me and say my car is brown it’s not sodding brown it’s bent orange and he say not top of range because boze one is top of range with roof bar I always dreamt of it’s made me wonder if I even like car anymore what I am trying to say is why did I do this did I always want one or was it just me copying and he taking Michael saying I look like big turd flying down road (not flying ) that would waste peterull as usually only fill up £100 a year . It’s not brown it’s bloody burnt orange not lol at that
