It's really interesting how Peugeot's and Renault's interiors are taking different paths. The new Peugeot's interiors are futuristics and sporty while the new Clio's interior looks rather cozy and minimalistic. The new Peugeot interior feels like if you're in a space ship, while the Clio interior feels like if you were in a nice sophisticated room. We can clearly see Renault's inspiration coming from house interior design. I personnaly really like both interiors, but for some reason, I feel like the Clio's interior feels better, more welcoming, more comfy. I absolutely love the new Peugeot 208 though.
It's a design hybrid of a previous Clio and current Megane. And these are pretty cars and so is the new Clio. I like the interior too - big improvement from the old one.
Laurens Van Den Acker has done an impressive work at Renault. He should be thanked for bringing a bold, fresh design and make the Renault cars turn heads. Beautiful Clio!!!

@@jambon2730 , Je pense que Renault s'est considérablement amélioré en termes de points tels que la qualité et la fiabilité, je peux dire que parce que je conduis Renault depuis 18 ans! Le nouveau chef designer Laurens Van den Acker fait Renault très bien les voitures maintenant tous look super belle et deviennent de plus en plus attrayant et sont de mieux en mieux et techniquement!
@@welovecarsbypellehansen Ça dépend aussi de la version. Surtout s'ils présentent dans cette vidéo la version haut de gamme design. Je pense que renault est une bonne marque mais ils doivent revoir les prix des versions par rapport aux concurrents. Par exemple la 208 qui est en fin de production à eu une nouvelle version "signature" qui a un des meilleurs rapports équipements / prix

Great ! I will soon need to buy a car in this category and this new Clio places itself in a very good position. Not sure the Polo, Fiesta, Corsa or even the corean Hyundai and Kia will win the battle against the new Clio. Well done, Renault !
@@Vaio1 This is not a facelift. It has a new chassis this is a different car. They simple keep the design because it was already good and they make it better with little touches in exterior. I like this way. They make a good job becouse Imagine to make a different ugly car and people say the fourth generation was better.
STOP HATING FRENCH CARS •Their engines are really economical •Their designs are way interesting than others •especially Renault and Peugeot know how to build hot hatches •Renault espace looks so much better than any other family van •they aren’t overly expensive •you don’t have to pay for every detail-> extras are cheaper •French Cars mostly drive really emotional (in a good way)
I see this as an all sleek design. Can find the sleekness in every part of this car. Whatever the experts say about this beauty is convincing from its looks.
The rising o frenault from 2005-6 is amazing !!!! the new clio is perfect, i wish they bring back concepts like renault 5 or 19 and start to make again reliable and charismatic cars like renaults in the early 90s and late 80s
Ok, u like audi instead renault? U cant compare them dude, audi is premium and it cost 40k euro, renault max 25k, renault is a great car, best non premiun car, best sales in.europe...best motors in the industry of cars, even mercedes has renault engines. A and B klasse. 1.5.dci.
My first car was clio MK2, and when I did just innovated the interior with some COOL stuffs like install the armrest ,radio with microphone and them gave under the dashboard RGB LED in the chrome guardrail,that was awesome... MK5 is Great work, better and beautil ,I like that car,I like CLIO ❤
This car is gorgeous and way more interesting than the new polo! In my opinion the features and the design of the interior are almost on Audi A1 level. Renault’s development in terms of technology and design throughout the last years makes me happy and I can’t wait for the R.S and R.S trophy version of this car
in 1999 when I took the driving license, the first car was a clio used to get driving experience, then in 2002 I took another new clio but unfortunately in 2009 because of a guy accident that went off the road, he destroyed my car, but since my clio I liked a lot to drive then I took the CLIO 2009 1.2 16v that I still own now, if I had to change the car would certainly take the NEW CLIO (so I owned 4) but perhaps with the automatic transmission, and I care nothing to say that accompanied me for a long time the clio and I had no problems about it I always felt good, thanks for the CLIO always in my heart
They are unreliable, that's the problem, my Clio is only 5 years old, but now needs new head gasket, water pump etc at a cost of near £1000 , if I bought an Audi instead I'd get 10 years use before anything went wrong
@@christineayres5339 No they are not. I have an Audi A6 and my wife an A1 (both cars are 3 years old). We've got a rise in salaries 3 years ago, so we've decided to change cars. What a big mistake it was ! Not only we have to do a lot more repairs than with our ex Megane Renault and Peugeot 208, but it also costs the triple than with Renault or Peugeot. We are getting failures after failures at every levels. The service is not better, it's actually worse. You don't only buy a badge, you also buy a financial burden with Audi. Next time I'll go back French, this is why I'm here.
My dad owns a 2009 Citroën Grand C4 Picasso diesel and the only repair he made was camshafts chain for the last three years. I wouldn't say that French cars are unreliable. They are average. Reliability depends on a model not car's origin.
Beautiful, will you guys ever ad a sunroof please. In South Africa VW is dominating due to polo and golf have option to add a sunroof. It will look even better.
I think Clio will got an RS version with hybrid like E-golf but we will see but if they did full petrol it will be a 'ew motor and not the 1,6L 200 or 220 hp

Joli la nouvelle clio 5, en espérant que cette belle auto n’est pas autant de souci de perte de puissance que certaines clio 4 Rs de 2014 à 2015, soucis que, plus de 20 personnes subissent depuis un moment, et que Renault sport se muent dans un silence ou cherche en aucun cas a communiquer avec la clientèle qui cherche à les joindre en vain !!! This is first ever Renault Clio to feature a Plug in Hybrid version which will follow in 2020 would of course be exempt from emission tolls like the London Congestion Charge
This car was very beautiful...it remains to be seen, if Renault is interested in bringing it back to Brazil... it would be a competitor and so much for the VW Polo.

The best Clio was the Clio 2 Phase 1 V6. Looked like it was natively designed for having an enlarged wheel base, very specious and confortable, and compact.

currently doing a homework task where I have to find a car that I can pay for from taxes and etc. and this car is amazing just looking at it and it fits the price range for the homework also.
Hope the front window and the steering wheel is heatable. And I hope it will have a oldschool CD-Player, too. The exterior links good. I was afraid Clio will look much more like Megane. Inside looks great, but I prefer knobs instead of a touchscreen. I hope there will be a Clio Grandtour, too. So who needs Skoda Fabia?

@@Sevan59 mate im currently doing my MBA on transportation design. So stop trying to imagine my knowledge on cars. You know what Renault designs im talkin about. Except the last generatio Renaults, all of the Renault designs were awful. (Before 2012)
@@filippo5849 there is no renault best in its class. In every classes there is no Renault on the top 3. If there is a class called Trash cars then yes, Renault will be on the top with Dacia and Fiat 😂
Can someone confirm whether with the automatic climate control, the air conditioning control light is illuminated all the time or just when it's warm. And whether pressing auto/clear view should make any difference to it??
