I’m a little confused on your mix. I believe you were using a scale to mix that tinted clear up with? You mixed your first three parts up then stirred. So that part should be fine then you left the stirrer in the pail? Doesn’t that over compensate for the computer or do you tare the scale and recalibrate with the stirrer in the pail? I’m not knocking just trying to understand how the mix comes out correct because the paint looks good. Your shop is so clean too! I love seeing that. That shows a sign of a person who takes care in his work. Thanks for the reply.
I'm not surprises you're flicking clear in here, there and every where with that technic used... you are creating dry patches and when wetting said dry arrears you then creat more and just keep on going! I do this colour offer but don't use water based.. ground coat, under coat, candy then clear... clear coating we put down a dry, med then wet and covering the whole area each coat, then flick the blend area over with blend thinner. Easy 😁👍🏻
hi. you spray on the dry old paint with your basecoat, if i do something like this i have a product it's called blender and is for prevent overspray. do you have such a product? i am wotking with cromax... but very good work. your tunnels are good.
Yes i do,i used it for years its a very good tool but I stop using it and do it dry for a year now,and i can say if you improve your spray skills and technik, then its better for the end result and dust, when you do it with the dry method, the harder and smoother the underground the better the clear stand.
Don't add blender 1:1 with your base (30%max). This will cause metallics to rise to the top and appear coarser than rest of the basecoat. You also need to put the same G base under or sealer color on all panels or it will take more expensive top color to cover and could still show different in the sun light. You might get away with this sometimes, but at the expense of materials. 1.5 coats of clear is better than 2. It was designed as a 1.5 coat system. U seem to be over applying the midcoat to bury the base blend. That color appears orange on my screen the car color appears bluer.
Theres a huge difference in the colour, the red he applied was more orange and the blend was noticeable. When that colour sun bleaches over years itll look worse
Hi , Interesting video , I know this Renault red is not a normal metallic colour and you appear to keep changing the pot from blended clear / colour then clear then blended colour again but shame their is no explanation or information . Nice job though .
Good job man, and good technic for the base coat whit the 1050 +color ,I will try that. You do that with the oders colors to? What the dilution 1/1 base coat/1050? Thanks and sorry for my bad english ,I hope you anderstand me..
Because you have a super control on your hand and all your jobs are perfect...if you ever come to Greece-Thessaloniki me and Kwstas Avramidis we like to meet you!
ok thanks men,i think the most important thing is the hand eye coordination to lay down whats exactly needed at that spot.meeting you guys would be fantastic!!
It's a good video but why no commentary or subtitles explaining what you are doing here... It's like an old silent movie... The blend coat on the red needed a some explanation to people that don't understand the compexities of painting... after all that's why people watch your videos to learn
Everything you do is very good. The R&I department is lacking big time, but i think the ground coat or color was just a bit off on this one. Looks a touch on the orange side to me. Probably not as noticeable in person
Thanks alot for the comment, the ground tone is so much of,because the tinted clear makes the color in this one.the more the ground tone is of the more effect it the color give.i have for this color 3 tints, one more reddish one more to the orange and this pinky one.remember the clear is very deep red and makes this color red.👍
Se nota la diferencia de color! Le falta rojo o tiene mucha perla roja... Antes de aplicar el color debería probar pintando una chapa a ver si es igual a la pintura del guardabarros
Thanks for your comment,i think what you see is the effect of the color in the shape of the panel.nnp from spies is a very good formula, you can paint it straight against another panel.
So you have 1050,!.. should be applying on your blend panels for better color blending. It will lay in flat with no dry edge once dry. In this case you should be applying the reduced color or Blend reduction first, then work inside with your full strength color. You will have less texture from the full color your blend area. Its called reduced blend. Not sure where you took your training, it wasn’t in Canada.
Yes it needed another coat or two of the MC10002 Tinted Clear, considering the project he left very little blend room in this case, so his hands were tied.
Probably so, I'm just a viewer from the couch lol...I deal with these generac candies all the time but luckily i have spies hecker in my corner and have had for the last 20 yrs.good work tho.
Blend was a little too orange even after clear. Not a bad job making it more difficult to see but base should've been able to blend without tinting clear.
As you said you in Pakistan, the cars there came from different factory s , that is why there are different color tints on cars. In my country this tint is common
