I remember on the Hockenheimring, when one of this Cars Drive through in 2nd / 3th Gear, and i was standing about 20 meters away. I could nearly not Breath for the first time, from the Power of those Engines. And i was 20 Meters away.
@@chestermartin2356 No you're wrong you obviously know nothing about engines, if you did you would know they have a brain and nerves. They can think and and sense
At summernats here in Australia I had the pleasure of watching one do donuts in front of me with the beautiful v8 of course; I will never forget how its screaming sound pierced through everything
Jarryn Smith i saw similar at trafford in manchester. BMW sauber demo’d their cars (V10) when I was a kid and it was a great experience. Changing the wheels, sitting in one, and then watching kubica i believe doing donuts in one.
They can go from idle to full speed in nothing. It is impressive when (i think Renault) sang happy birthday to Fernando with the engine simply by changing rotational speed and the response of the engine was almost instant.
@@henkdekraai5290 you cant say the v10 were worse, they were just older technology, v10 with modern tech would be a beast, we would see the new heights of speed , but fucking fia started with enviroment friendly shit and now it all went into shit
They revved it to 22k I believe could be lower but it's the highest an f1 engine ever revved.I'm not saying the highest in a race just in general a f1 motor never revved that high and it was a first. Or are you talking about the time they made the engine play "god save the queen"
I have stood around 30-ish feet away from one of these while it was at the Rev Limiter. Genuinely pounded my chest it was so loud. I could only imagine what it would be like if I were as close to it as they are.
Watching Fernando hiding behind this little metallic pole, while he was sitting, engine in the back, pushing this demon to the extreme for 2 years straight. I love it.
We miss that so freaking much!!! I remember an interview with Hamilton while Alonso was running errands with the V10 R25, and somewhere in the middle of the interview Hamilton lost focus and he was like ahhh that sounds so beautiful or something along these lines!
I remember standing beside these monsters just the same distance as them. It does pound a wave to your chest and seem to make the ground tremble... AMAZING. what F1 should've remained to this day
At Aus gp I was ready to go with my earplugs. The V8 supercars were loud af, the Porsche cup Cara were pretty loud, S5000 blew my ear drums, F1 I had to turn up my hearing aids.
@Messaggero Spirituale he just made some bad choices, tough luck I guess. 2 WDC's not even a joke, there are reasons why he is fondly remembered by many fans.
@@baltinardelli because the tolerances of these entines are so tight that theyre stuck when cold. In order to start it they heat up the coolant before the race so the block expands enough for them to move
Bold statement: I bet if Alonso and Renault had just stayed together from 2007 to present, each would have multiple more world championships...Sometimes the grass is not always greener.
I mean he was 1 point of the next year. And Renault were no where till like 2012. The same year he came second. If he stayed the Renault cars still wouldn't have been championship cars
I was lucky enough to watch these cars live in Barcelona, twice. The second time I went with hear protection gear, otherwise you just couldn't take photos or videos because your hands would be covering your ears all the time in the main stand.
