Loved this video. Really informative. Not many night driving videos in car reviews. In the northern hemisphere we spend 4-6 months of the year driving in the dark. This was brilliant. Thank you for making it.

13:15 agree! I suspect that that 'creep' mode is done to have a similar driving experience for people coming from an automatic ice car. But yes, I prefer too that the car stays stationary when no brake applied. Especially also for driver behind you it's (at least I do) very annoying when it's dark out when the car in front of you is on the brakes at a traffic light. Even more so when it rains! Apparently you can auto hold the Megane when you press the brake pedal, come to a stop, then press it a bit more, then let go. The car will remain stationary (with, I think, the brake applied). When you press the Go padal the brake will let go.

I like the design, google operating system and also from the inside, really well done! 👌🏻 What I don't like: really very expensive to buy, only front-wheel drive, relatively small battery and weak charging capacity, seats without any lateral support and the worst thing: loading flap on the FRONT RIGHT!? 🤦🏼‍♂ i have a normally narrow single garage, how are you supposed to be able to put the plug in there!? I can't think of any other EV that only has the tailgate on the front right? 🤔 Nobody with a single garage will buy the Megane E-Tech, that's a fact. 🤷🏼‍♂

Fair point about the charge port location. Why not on both sides, since the right hand drive has the port on the left side..!

If you do like me and almost always park the car the back first and especially in a garage and even more if it's that narrow. Having the charge port in the back is not practical at all. So it's not really a real issue, because it's just depending of what people do.

heaving a dashboard is a big+ I actually removed a Tesla from my shortlist because it has no direction indicator but buttons on de stear 😂

Tesla Model 3, has more value for money. Tesla has more power, faster car & more fun to drive, an LFP battery has more cycles, more range and lower power consumption thanks to the most advanced heat pump, Tesla supercharger network, regular free software updates bringing new stuff, the new Highland has new comfort suspension. End of 2024 FSD will be available in Europe. Tesla is still the best EV you can buy. Megan EV isn't bad at all but Tesla is better value for money if you ask me. I can send you a referral code if you want so we both get points we can spend on free Tesla supercharger km.

Thanks for your opinion, but the only down side for me is the nearest tesla is about little less than 300 km, when is time to do the check ups etc.. is like a trip like 3 hours. i am decidin model Y or Renault megane e tech 😮‍💨 @@JRCarReviews
